This was war!! The rackets were guns and the balls were missiles. This was meant to be the final but was played as the quarter finals!!! What a brilliant match!!

I don't understand why all these Novak-fans keep accusing Rafa for doping and that he is faking his injury. You could see that he was in a lot of pain when he played against Shapovalov in Rome, and then he said afterwards he's been dealing with a chronic left foot injury his entire life and that he's been playing with a lot of pain many times before. I as a Rafa-fan can respect Novak Djokovic as player and person and also many of his fans who can at least accept that he either didn't have his best day or that his opponent was the better player. Nadal is in my opinion the greatest fighter of all time and the true G.O.A.T because of the injuries he's been dealing with all these years, and soon at 36 still be capable of competing against the top players and fight for slams. Anyways, it was a great match, I barely had any sleep because it was around 2 am when this match had ended. Truly worth it. Hopefully we'll get to see more of these two against each other in the future. Now, go and get the #22 Rafa!
