The training provided by the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) is focused on military and ideological indoctrination. The group's training camps are typically located in remote areas along the Naga self administer zone.
NSCN's training program includes:
1. Basic military training: Recruits are taught weapons handling, marksmanship, and combat tactics.
2. Guerrilla warfare techniques: Trainees learn ambush, sabotage, and raid tactics.
3. Ideological indoctrination: Recruits are taught the group's ideology, including its political and historical context.
4. Physical fitness and endurance training: Trainees undergo rigorous physical training to prepare them for combat situations.
5. Intelligence gathering and surveillance techniques: Trainees learn how to gather intelligence and conduct surveillance.
It's important to note that NSCN's activities, including its training programs, are part of Naga Nationalism safeguard.

The Nagas' right to self-determination and independence is a long-standing issue. The Nagas have a distinct cultural, linguistic, and historical identity that predates the formation of the Indian state. Nagas have been subjected to colonization and marginalization by the Indian government, which has led to a desire for sovereignty and self-governance. The Naga independence movement has a long history, dating back to the 19th century. The movement gained momentum in the 20th century, with the formation of the Naga National Council (NNC) in 1946, which declared Naga independence in 1947. While the Indian government has recognized the unique identity and struggles of the Nagas, it has maintained that the Nagas are an integral part of India. The government has attempted to address Naga grievances through various peace accords and autonomy arrangements, such as the 1975 Shillong Accord and the 1997 ceasefire agreement. However, many Nagas continue to aspire for full independence, citing historical, political, and cultural reasons. The issue remains unresolved, with ongoing peace talks and negotiations between the Indian government and Naga groups, including the NSCN.

Broooooo... "Many Nagas aspire for full independence" ????? Where is the data? Where is the information?? Stop blabbering nonsense. Aspiring for full independence, but not aspiring for full self dependency, away from the Indian soil, should be done which sadly is not the case. Instead Indian money is being leeched off through the portal of the common public from their hard earned earnings. Talk about self sufficiency first within the "Naga army" since it's been active for more than 25 years. Where's the planning, where's the transperancy? Where's the actual solution to the cause? Seems to me, it's more like a rip-off from the original script of the Indian government?🤕 Plus, this is not a degradation comment to the training recieved and sacrifices made throughout the history by the Naga Army, but it's actually on what main focus or goal of the army is now? Shouldn't the common people also be prepared by undergoing a similar training if push comes to shove? Or is the youths supposed to take up arms without any knowledge?

The Nagas have a rich history and culture that predates the formation of the Indian state. They have a unique identity and have long been seeking recognition and self-governance. The Naga people have a strong sense of nationalism and have been fighting for their rights and freedom for many years. They have a distinct language, culture, and traditions that are different from the rest of India. The Naga movement for independence is based on the principle of self-determination and the right to govern themselves. They believe that they have the right to determine their own political, economic, and social systems, free from external interference. While the Indian government has made efforts to address some of the Naga people's concerns, the issue of Naga independence remains unresolved. The Nagas continue to fight for their rights and freedom, and their struggle is recognized by many around the world.

@@paul6353 yes they can beat and this may be one of the reason why the Indian army chosed the diplomatic path thus, after long fighting the Indian armies proposed and entered into cease fire agreement since 1997 till today..after decades of bitter battle the Indian armies began to realized that they cannot beat the naga army. just imagine why would six crore Indian army entered into cease fire agreement with this few army? Because their styles of warfare is 10 times more dangerous than that of india ..it is also said that some powerful countries are with the naga army. that's why the Indian armies are extremely scared of them.Further, though huge in numbers it is also a matter of fact that almost every Indian armies are not true patriots but paid service men and mostly bread winners for their own family so they are extremely scared to die leaving their own family. on the other hand the naga armies are unpaid soldiers joined the painfull journey by will driven by the spirit of patriotism. you may see that even in the past many naga armies had laid down their life for the cause of freedom and many more are ready to sacrifice their life anytime. The indian armies unlike you fool are wise enough to realize this fact long back knowing that they find quite difficult or even impossible to beat the naga army without dialogue.
