Eeveelutions are just so wildly popular, I think itll hold around £250-£300 for the set for a few years

The Yu Nagaba pikachu was printed in large quantity as well, while it languished for a while, its now 3x what it was 6 months ago. Seems like demand is now exceeding supply. With the eevee set, each individual card will likely be printed in LESS quantity than the pikachu, since there are 9 cards to give out in total. So, potentially choosing the most popular card out of these nine, might eventually return good investment results, as there will be less of them than the pikachu. Since you are so good at picking the popular card, which out of the 9 do you think it will be?

The only difference I would say is that these promos are a set of 10(?) vs a single promo type. If all cards are equally popular, everyone would need to collect one of each (so 10 cards) rather than 1 and I think unless they 10x the print run vs single card promos, then they should do alright and see some appreciation... (though I don't think they will be equally popular).

I keep getting beaten for that Lillie CHR for real. It's the only card I'm missing for my Dream League set because I didn't know about it, when it was 100 I couldn't buy it, when it was 300 I couldn't buy it, now I wanna hit myself because I probably could giving up something else. In a year I'll be writing this comment again with the card being the same price as a PSA9 Illustrator, it's great xD I'll definitely be on the lookout for that Cosmoem reverse, thanks!

What is the reasoning to continue to sit on these cards that have not increased in price. Why not sell for a break even or small loss, and put that same money into something you expect to move upward in price strongly? Why not cut the loss in the underperforming asset and switch into something better?

I hope your instincts on the Cosmoem reverse is a good one :) I just bought a bunch of the quad Lillie set (Lunala, Salgaleo, Cosmog and Cosmoem) for the long haul. Nothing ventured, nothing gained .... I have a copy of the Lillie CHR in PSA 10. I think I will just hold on to it for a while longer :) The Yu Nagaba promos feels like a hype that will die down shortly, so staying clear off of those.
