I had no idea what to expect when I landed in Nagaland. After wishing to visit the Hornbill festival for five years, I finally got on a plane to Dimapur. I'm so glad I did that because Nagaland is beyond beautiful. The people are very welcoming and the food is just too delicious. I love spicy food so the food was great for me, haha they use a lot of King chilli!!
Hornbill was great before of course, it was cancelled. It was brilliant to meet the 16 Naga tribes and to hang out with the Nagas and watch their mesmerising dance performances. Do watch it through and let me know what you think in the comments section.

@@yeeshaprakash5034 Although there are many villages to visit but my preference has always been Pungro village (It borders Myanmar, and has mount saramati which is also one of the highest peak in nagaland, did my class A till 10th standard back then left kiphire around 2000, residing in delhi now. How I wish I could be a part of these amazing festival and lovely people out there, my people. So to me Pungro can be one good choice where you can not only meet people and know about culture but also get a glimpse of that peak... It's just captivating...just try searching some contents on Saramati, you might find it. All the best.

Just to add one point for viewers from other states. we wear such Traditional attires only in such Big Festivals just to show case to the world not on daily life.

Deeply saddened and regretted what had happened in Nagaland in recent weeks. I truly believe you had a good time although the Hornbill was called off, unfortunately. Wherever you are, please tell our stories and all those memories along with you.

Yes, definitely. Extremely saddened by what happened there. I really wanted to go to Mon and talk to the people myself but it was getting really difficult to get there. I will be talking about it in the third video from this series.
