The reason why Karma let Nagisa wins is because Nagisa will only fight when his life depends on it, and Nagisa decided to fight Karma, because "his life" depends on it

Yeah I’m not sure if they read too deeply into that, but Karma was lying to Nagisa when he gave the reason for why he gave up. He knew that Nagisa wouldn’t have tried so hard to fight for something unless it was that important to him.

@@kingintox5743 It's not that he lied. It's more like he gave him one of the reasons why he forfeited. But the main reason is the same, he forfeited because Nagisa decided to fight him because "his life" was on the line.

@@redrouge2537 yh, the person that stands out the very least can be considered having a weak presence, nagisa just takes it a bit extreme and its like u don't see them right next to you but they are still there, when nagisa touched karma in the flash back, it gave him the feeling that he could of stabbed him with a knife and he wouldn't notice until he got stabbed

also karma didn't want to win with the knife because nagisa choose he's (karma) method of hand to hand combat, that complete full circul with nagisa drop the chance to snipe karma earlier where he accepted karma's way of settling the battle down. (in the end karma gave up the chance to win same as nagisa gave up chance to win for respect to each other)

The reason why karma let nagisa win in the end was because he karma wants to we equal just like how Nagisa didn’t use his knife in many situations with possibilities

“Imagine if this was UFC and they were fighting, then he brings a knife...” I never watched UFC, but I don’t think that is how it goes lol Also is interesting how both Karma took Nagisa into close combat by letting go of coverage and calling him out (unableing nagisa to shoot from afar) and Nagisa made Karma unable to hit with a knife because he let go of his assassination specialty to fight in Karma’s specialty

Karma gave up because nagisa beat him in combat, his specialty. He could have won in assassination, but that wouldn't dismiss the could ofs between the class. Karma had luck in the end, but it would have been the same as Nagisa using his skills.

Not really. "Karma didn't have to not use the knife." Nagisa didn't have to not shoot him when he stood out in the open. The whole point of their fight was to get the whole class to accept the winner. Nobody would've accepted Nagisa's cheap shot, and nobody would've accepted Karma getting beaten in a fight, and then using a knife because he got lucky. Like Karma said, he was totally defeated.

If this wasn't about "the class," he would've gotten sniped before the fight even began, because Nagisa out positioned him. And even in the fight he got beat and then got lucky. Karma got rekt.

Nagisa should have won earlier anyways he just called off the snipe opportunity. Funny how people are still deluded saying Karma won or Karma should've won when Nagisa could've clearly sniped him because the goal of the fight in the first place was to win not to actually satisfy the other team. Nagisa is just better than Karma.
