During our ground coverage of Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha Chunav, team Lallantop reached Nagpur. The Editor of The Lallantop, Saurabh Dwivedi, interacted with an eleven-year-old boy named Shiv who sells chocolates and chips near Futala lake in Nagpur.
Nagpur, the orange city, is the political seat of Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis and Nitin Gadkari, both the leaders are from Nagpur. Nagpur is also the headquarter of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Nagpur is the place where Doctor Bhimrao Ambedkar along with thousands of his supporters converted into Buddhism. To understand the politics of Maharashtra, team Lallantop reached Futala Lake. Watch the video to know the political atmosphere of Nagpur.
Voting for the 288-seats of Maharashtra assembly elections 2019 will be held on October 21 in a single phase. The final results will be declared on October 24.
