1994 Estonia was so underrated... Great song, great singer. Thank God this song is much more popular now, 30 years later! R.I.P. dear Silvi Vrait, a great lady!

I thought this was a fantastic song when I saw the video of it in BBC TV's preview of all the entries for the 1994 contest. I was disappointed, like so many others, when it scored just 2 points. However, 24 years later, I still think it's fantastic.

For 27 years I still listen to the song of Austria, which received 0 points. There are also songs from other countries that have received 0 or 3.4 or 10 points this does not mean that I do not hear these weave weave.

Asim Hoxha Lithuania received 0 points, Austria received 19 points.

@@JeSuisRene based on when that comment was made and that they said 27 years, i think they meant venedig im regen by thomas forstner which represented austria at the 1991 contest and recieved 0 points.

The worst think is that they receved 2 points from Greece, but they never appreciated it! They are of the countries that NEVER vote for us. Even in 2005 they gave us 0, FUCKING ZERO! You are so honest Estonians... We were the first country ever to vote for you, we saved you from 0 back then, we even gave you 12 the year you won but you didn't even care about any of them...

I just found out she passed away 6 years ago. I felt terrible and sad when I realized that. This song is one of my favorites that year (together with The Netherlands,Cyprus and Hungary) Estonia was so underrated that year in my opinion. Only 2 points? Estonia should absolutely be proud of her hard work and amazing performance! xoxo from Croatia

Completely underrated - the melody, the lyrics, the entirety of the song is epic with its back singers and the orchestra. I was a year old in 1994 and didn't know anything bout Eurovision at the time. Yet, this piece of music is still good..30 years later. I can't even remember the song that won in 2023.

I'm so sad to know that Silvi Vrait died. I had no idea. She had a powerful, wonderful voice. This entry is SOOOO wonderful, such a grear song absolutely underrated. I'll listen to this song as a tribute to her. Sit illa terra levis.

One of the most strongs years of competition, I love this song. Fuerza, temperamento, gran artista. Kisses from Spain and thanks to Estonia for many good songs.

I was surprised that the song ended so far down on the list. But this year is one of a very few ones where no song really deserved to end last. The most of them were more top-ten-songs, but some had to end last. R.I.P Sylvia....

I was a bit surprised to learn that she was only 43 when she performed this. I would have guessed 55-60. And now I feel like an asshole for typing that out... :-/ With that said, I really like this song, and I was sad to find out that she passed away.

Estonia's and lithuania's debut; Estonia 2p and lithuania 0p. Sad that almost neighbours get that bad results. Great Song! Thanks from Finland to estonia

Fun fact: Estonia was actually the first baltic country to enter the contest. In 1993 estonia sent their first entry to eurovision, but that year the EBU had arranged a pre-qualifying round that the debutating-countries should take part in. Only the top 3 entries was able to compete in the Grand Final, Estonia made it into 5th place and was by that, Eliminated from the contest. Then Lithuania took part in 1994 and Latvia in 2000

Strong year but many underrated song. At least Greek jury saved a bit the situation; 12 points to Cyprus, 10 to Finland, 2 to Estonia.

I keep coming back to ESC 1994… first of all, I really think that Poland had to win in 1994 - master piece song! Not saying Ireland’s song was bad… but not a winning song for sure! Now, Estonia- 2 points!? You must be kidding me!? So underrated!!! The same like Lithuania with 0 points 🙈😞 all in all, seems like Europe was not ready to accept into “their family” all these “new” countries entering ESC… Western ignorance and arrogance, that’s what it was… 😃

100% agree! Silvi Vrait was so underrated! Estonia 1994= great song, great singer! Everything you said is true. Western Europe was very against Eastern Europe in 1990s. Actually, it was not only ESC. Later, it happened with EU and NATO too. So sad...
