Keeping aside this issue, i'm disappointed with many people who still can't differentiate between Recognised Naga Tribe and Recognised Tribe of Nagaland. In this context, Kachari is not a Naga Tribe, but a recognised indigenous Tribe of Nagaland since they've been staying in Dimapur even before the formation of our state, Nagaland, in the year 1963. Also, a small note on Indigenous and indigenous. Indigenous specifically means those people who have been staying in Nagaland even before the formation of the state. For example : Kacharis, Kuki, Garo & Mikir. People belonging to these tribes can contest election in any part of Nagaland regardless of whether they are Naga or not. Friends, let's not be carried away by emotion but rather give space for rationality backed with fact and datas, and comment wisely. I'm ready to have a healthy discussion, so you can leave your thoughts too. Peace.✌️

First of all Karchari are part of Nagaland with majority as Hindus, they're recognised indigenous tribe of Nagaland. But to see our own Naga people being unaware of it really disheartens me! As the citizen of the Naharbari Ward 10, I express great dissatisfaction to this event, the council leaders as well the candidate Mrs. Krishna Mech. Being from Kachari tribe, this kind of outrageous disrespectful behaviour from the candidate of my Tribe is completely unbearable and embarrassing for me. A person if capable enough would have been witty to express her grievance before all this commotion happened, if she had some unavoidable meetings or so, everyone would have understood her problems in hand. But she didn't turn up on top of that she didn't even give a proper reason. What a Shame! Coming to the Acting Council Members of Naharbari Ward 10, never saw such incapable team of workers in my life. As an acting authority, firstly lying on camera, secondly doesn't even have the resources to inform each and every citizens of Ward 10(thats why majority of the Ward 10 citizens were uninformed, on investigation), thirdly they're not even well informed about their own ward, fourthly they're such a group of unprofessional leaders to have no IQ on how the venue should be for such platforms and select accordingly but had to see all those commotions of venue change prior to the event night. Greater Shame to the Council Members! If the supporters of Mrs. Krishna Mech can't discern by now who is capable, I think it would no longer be an act of innocence but being ignorant and foolish! Or maybe have some ulterior motives together with the party workers heads, who didn't turn up not even one to stand representing her! What a bunch of shameful nefarious cowards!

Mr. Chairman, there's nothing wrong in spilling the truth to the public since she would've at least made a phone call to you stating the reasons of her absence. Being absent on such an event organised by ward authority is an insult to the ward authority as well as to the people. And if this absentee candidate wins, it'll be like NPSC exam result 2 years back where an absentee was selected when he/she didn't even appear😂
