Nahko... I was separated from my ex wife bonded deeply with my sons ove this song and other selections of his. Met a girl who, I later discovered, loved nahko's music. Now we're married... I'm grateful to have his music in the sound track of my life...

I'm sorry for both of your losses. I hope you have many dream visitations from your children. The veil is so close, I only seen my dad a few times growing up, Since he's passed he's always me. He told me in a dream he wasn't dead and he was still here.. I was talking and he shushed me and said "look" I look, and there was one red cardinal perched on a branch that turned it's head and looked at me. Keep talking to your departed loved one's, because they know everything going on in the families life.. and are always a thought away. Angel's and guides as well. ❤

For so long the Native youth have been brought down by society. I remember traveling off my Reservation and how hard it was because people would publicly mock my culture by saying racial remarks. The sad thing is I was 13 years old at the time. I'm so glad to see and hear artists like Nhako Bear do his thing because it inspires me to be happy with my culture and people. I love my race and wish only for peace and unity for all tribes and nations. Much Love Ty Lee Storm

Never let society bring you down…then they won. You carry the sacred blood of the first nations and should be proud. I live on Long Island. Very few Native folks , mostly just Shinnecock Indian Nation a relative of Alconquin left but every other town has a Native American name…Wantagh, Hauppauge, Merrick, Montauk, , Ronkonkoma, so many more. This reminds us all of our history…a sad one but never lets us forget whose land we are on. Many of us whites feel like we have deep connections and deep sorrow over the treatment of Natives in our history and some feel connected to the souls of the First Nation. When i teach classes on connecting to nature, I always ask forgiveness to our Native American ancestors and ask them to guide us. I think the Earth would be in much better shape if they were still in charge. Be proud Tyson, carrying the blood of such beautiful people. Peace to all!

Nakho you're so valuable. A warrior, singer, lover, brother, and the being that invested in the infrastructure of body and mind. We're stoked you are working so hard. You being amazing doesn't diminish us. When we or you build you, everyone gets stronger, because we're on the same team. True love. When we build ourselves we strengthen everything we love. Like seeds in the earth bursting with desire, we were just biding our time to set the world on fire. With a line inspired by all the sparks that fired in the illusions. Our map. We the sparks of everything burn for the everything we love. Everything loves us too. Go team.

I am a 40 something Caucasian male. I have heard and listened to Warrior People hundreds of times since discovering it about a year or so ago. Warrior People touches my soul. I connect with it on a level most people won't understand. For me, it represents walking life's path, and overcoming it's trials and hardships and keep pushing forward. We are all one people... I used to have extreme anger management issues, and this song softened my heart.. "I will learn to be Peaceful, But I keep my knife at my side. I will pray for compassion, but if war comes to my door, I will be Blasting", that lyric alone opened my eyes to my inner struggle with my anger problem. It has taken me this long to comment because so many will judge the fact that I'm a Caucasian. How could this song connect with me? I'm sure some of y'all will have negative responses... But all I can say to that ignorance would be... Are You Listening?

Look man 40ish . Your a shame slave . The human mammal is thermally adaptive. Cold climates endured by our ancestors when they wondered northern Europe gave rise to increased energy, mental and physical. Granted we have lost touch nearly completely with our tribal past , and to some degree a sense of community along with it . But you my friend have nothing to be ashamed of . My ancestors where the Picts of Scotland and when I think back to how they lived , vs how native Americans lived . I see no difference

Interesting...I may know why. However, I prefer not to get into a youtube comment battle with people who are....well terrible haha. Are you decendant from tjhe people of the Caucuses? or European They are different races. Tribes from the Caucuses are the Ancestors to the Indo race. Anglo refers to the fair skinned European race. Neither superior to the other. All 7 races are important in their own right.

Did you guys listen to the album version of Warrior people?. This version isnt recorded in a studio but in a gondola and its far better than the album version !! The sometimes blunt sound of the guitar, the roughness of the strings, the rawness of it, thats what actually makes this song so great! This warrior has no time to go to the studio and record, he doesnt care about recording that much, only that his message goes out to the people. I wish I could be part of his movement, ive tried contacting them but no response. One love !

Timothy Walters Aloha ke akua ...... “Aloha Ke Akua” Lyrics (Non-scrolling) Nahko Bear (Medicine for the People) Lend your ears, lend your hands, Lend your movement, anything you can. Come to teach, come to be taught. Come in the likeness in the image of God. Cause, you can be like that. With all that humbleness, and all that respect. All of the power invested in me, be it hard to love my enemies. All of the black bags over the heads of the dead and dying. The more I understand about the human race, the less I comprehend about our purpose and place and maybe if there was a clearer line the curiosity would satisfy. Time based prophecies that kept me from living, in the moment I am struggling to trust the divinity of all the guides and what the hell they have planned for us. I cry for the creatures who get left behind but everything will change in a blink of an eye and if you wish to survive, you will find the guide inside. I go back and forth every single day, the clarity it comes to me in a choppy way, as the feelings and the places and the seasons change, the galaxies remain. Energy fields pullin’ up out of this space. The angels that are a couple to the spiritual waste. The hate that gets me distant from my spiritual pace. Ten fold the manna when the planets are in place, in polar alignment. We’re on assignment. Bodies on consignment. Return them to the circus. And what is the purpose? What is the purpose and would you believe it? Would you believe it if you knew what you were for and how you became so in form? Bodies of info performing such miracles. I am a miracle made up of particles and in this existence, I’ll stay persistent, and I’ll make a difference and I will have lived it. Aloha, Aloha Ke Akua, Ke Akua, Aloha, Aloha, Kuleana, Kuleana. Aloha, Aloha Ke Akua, Ke Akua, Aloha, Aloha, Kuleana, Kuleana. Each day that I wake, I will praise, I will praise. Each day that I wake, I give thanks, I give thanks. Each day that I wake, I will praise, I will praise. Each day that I wake, I give thanks, I give thanks. And the day that I don’t wake up and transcend the holy make-up, I am capable, I am powerful. And the day that I don’t wake up and transcend the holy makeup, I am on my way to a different place…. I’m not a leader, just a creature, seeking the features of a teacher. Whether you follow or whether you lead All mysterious ways of nature and I’m into it. Changing management. And there are various ways to conquer this monotonous metropolis, my stubbornness is bottomless, my fearlessness is talking shit and I’m wide awake and I’m taking names. I am not a leader, just a creature. Seeking the features of a teacher. Whether you follow or whether you lead All mysterious ways of nature and I’m into it. I’m into it. Changing management. And there are various ways to conquer this monotonous metropolis, my stubbornness is bottomless, my fearlessness is talking shit and I am wide awake. And I’m taking names. And there are various ways to conquer this monotonous metropolis, my stubbornness is bottomless, my fearlessness is talking shit, and I’m wide awake and I’m taking names. Do you speak to me like you speak to God? All of the love and understanding between the father and the son? Do you believe in the perfectness of where you are? These are my people, these are my children, this is the land that I would fight for. My solidarity is telling me to patiently be moving the musical medicine around the planet in a hurry, Cuz there’s no time to waste. Got to wake up the people time to stand up and say, we know what we are for and how we became so in form. Bodies of info, performing such miracles. I am a miracle, made up of particles and in this existence, I’ll stay persistent and I’ll make a difference and I will have lived it. …….. And the day that I don’t wake up and transcend the holy make-up, I am capable, Hm that’s right, I am powerful. I love it! forgiven! Christian! one of the most amazing things i heard about the Native American people was by a preacher - Derek Prince explained why they were the most oppressed people group of all at the time (i think he said it in late 90s)... It was something amazing how he explained it.. they could not get ahead compared to any other group! (due to generational curses and rejection of the Word of God! Amazing!)

I hope everyone gives him a chance to do it. Many are only judging and not trying to help anyone at all. I was thinking maybe people need to walk both sides for a minute before they can truly find their path. Why should he be any different just because some people elevated him to 'God' status. Of course he would be bound to fall eventually. I'm pretty sure that's what he's been saying all along. We are all still 'learning', himself included.. You're the first sympathetic voice I've seen, I think.

Never heard of Nahko til last week. Now I’m hooked. The complexity of lyrics, rhythms… I think he’s even doing semi tones during the scat. Just think, this was in one take! He’s in the zone. What made it more interesting is much of this song is the story of his life

Perfect song for 2020, should be the soundtrack for the movement. Remember, it's not just about police brutality, it's about racism at every level. Would love to hear more from the Native Americans, your the true Americans who deserve a much bigger voice. Your people understand the benefits of peace.
