Awesome. Thank you for these great tips. I will certainly use them. I use foils a bit and love them as well. But they are a bit challenging sometimes. I use the foil glue from enailcouture but I was putting it on white on a client and i noticed how yellowing it was. Maybe i need to shake it as you said. I will certainly use your tips. Cheers

Thankyou so much I hope this helps you!! I haven’t actually tried that foil gel but I will maybe purchase. Yes a few of the foil gels I have tested do yellow over top of white I hate that!! The worst for that I found was the Magic Gel one drove me crazy 🤣

Thank you so much for making this video. I just bought foils and the gel from glitter mix Canada and had a hard time getting the foil to completely transfer. I will try again with your tips and tricks. 😊

Yes it should work!! And even try with the 30-40 seconds it really depends on the lamps I find with the Glitter mix Canada foil gel!! 🥰😃

If you put the foil diagonal you can cover the whole nail.

The main advice we need is how long to cure the nail glue and how long to let them cool before using.😢

That is exactly what I’ve been going through videos trying to find out. Every video is different with the curing time. It went from 45 seconds all the way to 3 minutes . It’s crazy.

Also I don't know if you've stated it in another video but where do you get your foils? The roses with the black background and then that really pretty purple psychedelic looking one that you spotted the butterfly pattern in but at the butterfly pattern in, those are my favorites!

Awww Thankyou so much your kind words me so much to me! So 95% of my foils came from Glitter Mix Canada. But I have some Canada Nail Supplies and Creata Beauty. But I honestly think you can find very similar foils on Ebay and Amazon too 💚💚💚

Sadly they didn't 😒 I followed all your instructions and just cant get the film to stick to the nail. I only sticks in sections and looks like patchwork. I'm using the Glitter Mix Boho style foils and their glue. This should all be working.

So helpful - do you also have a video on how to prevent chrome powders from chipping? Would you use the same method?

Hey luv! Yes I actually do use the same method the only difference to make sure you do is…. After you cure the top coat for 30 seconds then you scrub the chrome powder in go back into the light for another 30ish seconds so that layer is fully cured. What happens if you don’t then you go to apply the next layer of top coat or clear gel and the bottom layer starts to break down and cause chipping. But yes all the other steps stay the same!! 🥰

How long should I cure nail transfer foil gel in a LED/CCFL lamp? My lamp takes 20 secs for colour and top and base. 30 seconds for really dark colours. I can't work out how long I should be curing transfer gel in such a powerful lamp

Hey love what happened to your ig? Also do you remove the tacky layer from the gel or color then buff before applying the foil gel glue? I seen one tech keep the tacky layer on then apply no wipe top coat then apply the foil gel

Amazing. After a jear of trying with different foilgels it stil doesn,t work with me. It give me nightmares😰. Doe you remove the sticky layer from the gelpolish before you aply the foilgel?

Hey luv I usually don’t but another trick you can try so the foil gel has a matte layer to attach to is. After you apply your color lightly buff the nail and then cleanse it then apply foil gel maybe the foil gel your using needs a not shinny/tacky surface to adhere properly too. 🤞

Hello! So normally what that means if it shrivels up in spots you applied the foil gel to thick try applying as thin as possible. I have never heard of that brand you mentioned so I can’t honestly say if it’s that but I know that happens with other brands.

Hello, I think if you apply at least a base coat on your natural nail and then went in with the foil gel I think it should be fine but I’m not sure how long it will last for you is the only concern. Gel likes to stick to gel and if you put just a nail polish base and then go in with a gel product I just don’t have high hopes it would last to long. But I also never tried it so it’s hard to say for sure. 🤞

I tried this, but the cuts show when it is a flat design or uni-color. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I’m not sure either as when I do I don’t have that issue. My only suggestion when you build up the nail make it a bit flatter so the foil doesn’t have to bend as much.

I looked up at your favorite products, searching to purchase, wildflowers gives me a cost of 19$ the bottle, which IS expensive, but you know, anything to make life easier, but the shipping also is 19$, which makes me a total of 38$ just for a bottle of foil gel! That’s so weird!! Are they led? I use to use the Ugly Duckling lamps and it was 30 and then I’ve been using the Light Elegance ones and those are 30 and now I’m testing out the Fuzion chargeable lamps and those are 30.

Nearly ten minutes in before you even got to your first "tip" 🙄😬 im sorry but as kindly as possible, there was far far far too much unnecessary talking in the beginning. There was like 2 minutes of you just showing off your own nails. They are gorgeous and i love them but, i came to this video for tips and tricks to apply nail foils and was pretty disappointed with that. Sorry, but i hope you can read this as constructive. Good luck with future videos
