Thank you for this tip! Here's another tip for anyone still struggling. When I started stamping, I couldn't pick up an image to save my life! Blue film was off, I was sure I was woking very fast, I tried different scraping directions, rolling vs straight up and down techniques with the stamper, and tried all different amounts of pressure. Nothing worked! As a last resort, I tried priming my plates! I figured the blue film could be leaving a residue. I used dish soap and a nylon bristled scrub brush and went over the plates for a few seconds each, then rinsed and dried them very well. Shockingly, I could pick up an image the first time and every time after that! Now it's the first thing I do with all my plates. I've never had any damage or scratching from the nylon brush. You only have to do it once if you're struggling to pick up an image. Just clean the polish off the plate with acetone after that. Hope this helps someone else!

@@snazzynailartstudiobytia Thank you so much Tia! I'd never heard anyone do it either. But considering how it worked for me, I hoped it might help some other frustrated newbies. Priming the stamper is definitely helpful! I couldn't pick up at all until I followed your video. After, I got something to pick up, but not very well. Priming the plates was the last piece of the puzzle for me. Best of luck with it if you have some plates or designs that just don't want to work! Love and blessings to you and yours as well!

I got Covid so was on resting mode and not in a mood to stay active on ny social site as I was having alot of headache after that..
