Great video! A quick cheap fix for the cords is to use industrial strength velcro to attach the powerbar to the inner part of your desk like you pointed out, and then just gather and shorten the cords with tiewraps.

I’m a nail tech too and Amazon actually has a great gel lamp available with auto on, timers with digital visual display, on/off buttons and time variation options (10, 30, 60, and 90 second options) and are 48 watts which is most important! It was less than $50 and the best amazon purchase I’ve ever made lol

That's so weird. I'm going to IKEA tomorrow to look at desks. I watched this bc I was interested in a desk lamp for extra lighting. I found this video very helpful. Ty😊

Finally! Another person who loves to label and color coordinate their supplies!! It is hard to be a nail tech with OCD and be a perfectionist as well, but my clients are so gracious. I could easily sit at your station and start working immediately because of your amazing organizational skills! Great job! Also, what a great idea about the mini bottles. It is so expensive to purchase full size gel bottles only to discover that clients don't really choose that color for their service. This was such an enjoyable video.

You could get a cable box for the cords. Basically it’s just a box with holes for cords to go through to hide them!

I am currently making my own table cuz the manicure table I bought was way too small..and I was gonna go to local marble place and get a slab of quartz to put on top of Alex drawers, but now I see it table I love it omg, I have looked on glam up nails, and spoke w someone there..can u give the price of tabletop?

LEdot lamps are different, they do stay on once you either push the button or put your hand in with motion sensor, it doesn't turn off until timer stops or if you stop it manually fyi! 😊

Your salon and nail desk are beautiful! Thank you for sharing :) I just bought the Akzentz lamp and I am so excited! My lamp isn’t curing properly and it’s driving me nuts. I keep mints in my drawer for the same reason you have gum lol 😂

NailsByKatieDutra Definitely my old lamp. Sorry I should have mentioned that I don’t have the Akzentz lamp yet. It’s been on back order and my supplier is just getting them in next week. Must be super popular. Only more reason buy one!

The pedi area is owned by the salon owner. I know some things were custom built but I don’t know where anything was purchased.

I am thinking of getting that dust extractor, how often do you find you need to change the filter? And is it loud??

It’s not that loud. I have had it for a few months and I have not needed a new filter yet, I just dump it out after every client. 😊

How well does the dust collector work? I have a Valentino but it's really tall and that's what I don't like about it. The new one is lower and wider but it's about $400!

I really like it. It’s not perfect, there is still some dust around my desk but it gets a majority of it. And it’s reasonably priced.

Sorry Katia where I’m confused is I thought you said your table is 24inches apart from clients and you said normal is 18 so you are tugging on their hands to pull them towards you of which I do all the time ...😕 I want to order from glam up nails so wanted your advice and I did not see it posted below .....sorry for being such a pain ..... 😘 can you let me know exact dimensions please 🙏 I need to purchase 5 tables and do not want to make a financial boo boo lol I LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALLLLL YOUR VIDEOS !!!! No, my old table was 24in, not the glam up table, and a standard nail table is 18in. 😊 Everything is on their website glamupnails.com it says it’s 59” wide and 19” at the center.
