KOZHUKATTA RECIPE
1.Parboiled rice 1 ½ cup
2.Grated coconut 3 - 4 cups
3.Cumin seeds 1 - 2 tsp
4.Salt to taste
PREPARATION
1.Soak the rice in water over night 8 - 10 hrs, wash drain, and grind
with half the coconut and cumin sprinkling very little water only.
2.Add the remaining coconut and cumin, salt, mix the whole dough
well with the hand.
3.Make lemon sized balls.
KOZHUKATTA VELLOM (DUMPLING WATER) RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1.The uncooked balls 2 - 3
2.Water 2 - 3 cup
PREPARATION
1.Crumble the dough into 2 - 3 cups of water. Boil this well stirring
continuously, add a little more salt and crushed cumin ( 5 - 8 nos )
if need be. Set aside.
Serve both together.
