This cause very few scholars to declare this hadith to be unauthentic (e.g. Ibn Hazm). However they were wrong and major scholars said otherwise, as we’ll see insha Allah. As for the Tadlees of Abdul Malik, then one should keep in mind that its not necessary that all the narrations of a Mudallis is Tadlees. Abdul Malik might have heard this narration from both Hilaal and Raba’ee, as he had seen even great companions like Ali b. Abi Talib and his hearing from Raba’ee is proven. On the other hand its also possible that this narration is really a Tadlees, and Abdul Malik hide the narrator Hilal from the Sanad. If he has heard this from Raba’ee then the narration would be Sahih. And if Abdul Malik heard this from Hilaal then also the Sanad would be atleast Hasan. This is because Hilaal is “Maqbool” according to Ibn Hajar, [Taqreeb 2/576] meaning his narration should be acted upon in case if there are other chain to support it. And there are many chain to support this as shown below.

Sayyed Mohammad Al-Musawi, Sayyed Mohammad al-Musawi is originally from Iraq and heads up the World Ahlul Bayt Islamic League in London. Other than being involved in various humanitarian projects, he frequently responds to... Answered 2 years ago 1, Folding arms while praying was never practiced nor permitted by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA). It was started by Omar Ibn al-Khattab when he saw the Zoroastrian prisoners of war who were brought from Persia to Madina folding their arms as a sign of respect. He ordered people to do that during Salah. Leading Sunni scholars like Ibn Rushd in Bidayat al-Mujtahid page 323 admitted that there is no evidence at all that the Prophet (SAWA) ever folded his hands or arms during praying. Sunni well know scholar Malik ibn Anas who is the founder of Maliki Sunni sect refused this practice of folding hands while praying. 'Many well known Sahaba (Companions) refused folding hands like Ibn Abbas, Ibn Mas'ood, and above all and most importantly Imam Ali (AS) who was ordering Muslims to do this practice which is from non Muslims. 2.Sajdagah: We follow the real Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) who never prostrated during prayers on carpet or textile and used to put his forehead on the earth. He said: The earth was made for me as place for prostration and purification. جُعِلت لى الأرض مسجدا وطهورا That is why we put Sajdagah to put our forehead on the clay of the earth like the practice of the Prophet (SAWA).

If one holds hands below the chest he/she follows sunnah as per understanding of imam Araba . Means person is muqalid while Ahli Hadith are following Quran and Hadith as per understanding of suhaba .These schools of thoughts among muslims have developed in 1400years So Differences will remain there but one must remain tolerant towards differences . And don't make them confrontation issues between muslims
