You wanna hear something that will blow your mind? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Ok, well I’m m not sure if it will blow YOUR mind, but it kinda did mine. I have some Jewish ancestry, but have never been in touch with that side of my heritage, so I decided to start listening to lectures and reading about Hebraic culture, language and religion. I was listening to a rabbi that claimed that if you spell out the name of any major character within the Torah, you can discern the essence of that character’s story by writing it out in the ancient pictographic language from which the modern Hebrew letters evolved. Each letter apparently was literally once a small drawing (kinda like hieroglyphics). For example, the Hebrew Aleph, which is basically the letter “A”, in the ancient pictograph language was turned upside down and represented an ox head. If you turn a capital “A” upside down, you can kind of see it - the triangle portion is the face, and the two protrusions are the horns. So I listened to a lecture by a well known rabbi who was going through a bunch of biblical characters’ names, rewriting them out using the pictographs, and it would kinda tell their story (I hope this is making sense). Anyway, I noticed that he went through most of the major characters, but he didn’t do the most important name in the Torah! The sacred name that is given from the burning bush to Moses that he is to “proclaim” - The name of God himself. I know that Jews don’t say the name YHVH, they use a replacement word, “Adoni” which literally means “The name”, so I gave him a pass but still wanted to look it up for myself, so I did. And I think I found the real reason why modern rabbis refuse to say the name and forbid us from using it (And I don’t think it’s because the name is too sacred, because we are instructed to “proclaim” it) The name is spelled YHVH Y = Hand (or hand and arm) H = Behold (or “pay attention because this is important) V = Nail (or sometimes representing a tent spike) H = Behold The pictograph language for the sacred name of God in the Torah, that is a depiction of something important about his story is “Hand and nail” accompanied by two “Behold for this is very important” Does “hand and nail” remind you of anyone? Lol! It blew my mind when I saw it. The rabbis ain’t gonna tell you that one! Makes sense why the word is forbidden. Sorry for writing a novel, just thought it was interesting.

I always had a strong sensation of the separation between my spirit and body. It made me frustrated with my body when I was a child, until I more or less got used to it. Nevertheless, i could watch things happen to my body with detachment, and I could be a little indifferent about death, which was just the casting off of the horribly slow and inefficient body. That was just instinct. It was as easy for a child as any adult, but people were conditioned to identify a lot more with their bodies. They became lost in their flesh. You sort of have to pretend to be like other people to be tolerable and relatable to them. To grieve for the dead, although most of the time they were as dead in life, and surely more alive after death without the bodies that had become so burdensome to them. But I think they go where they went habitually in life. Where their spirits are inclined to dwell. I don't focus on the breath itself when I like to stop and take a breath, but on the scriptural saying about being still and knowing God. It isn't so much a practice as a habit that I like to do whenever. I might do it in the middle of a battlefield or in a dank hole in the ground, but I suppose I do it most often when I see a beautiful landscape in front of me, or some beautiful thing. It was a pity I never met a woman who made me pause like that. A woman is the only reason to bother being in the flesh.

I use breathwork daily but not with mediation so much in mind, but as more a way to flush my system of carbon and load it with oxygen. I have delt with shit rheumatoid arthritis and find it pretty effective...and it deffinatly seems to trim the chub... I have a six pack from breathing

Best way to think about the correspondence, is what parts of the anatomy react when they are deprived of the 4 elements. Plasma, Gas, Liquid, Solid....or Fire/Warmth (Hypothermia), Air/Breath (Suffocation), Water (Dehydration), Earth/Food (Starvation). I too, received a book: 112 Upanishads, and it's gold; to have a book with many more Upanishads is just wonderful, i really like it. And, actually, i ordered two versions of the 'Ashtavakra' book, reminds me of Sankara's Upadesasahashri and Vivekacudamani. I'm hankering to get into Proclus - i have the six books of Proclus on the theology of Plato, and his book on the Timaeus. Breathing.. I practice internal martial arts... Your work has helped me a lot. In it we synchronize breath with contraction of the navel point. My teacher has very developed muscles in this area. For most people they just breath without engaging this area.. In general this area is described as a pump. This is also the experience I have had after finally exercising it enough along with other physical instructions (this art is dead, I know few aside from some teacher that have developed this, took me years but is very simple). A force or pressure one starts to feel but not really tied to the breath itself but the contraction of the navel area which one naturally synchronizes breath. The description explanation I have come up with (not real understanding) is that its a piezoelectric effect. Just pushing against the world with your fingers or legs requires the connective tissue to become stiff.. The tendons and connective tissue stiffen piezolectrically (all protein is liquid crystal). A tendon is not just a rubber band its also can stiffen piezoelectrially. The atrophied power of the dantian naval is developed along with the structure of the body its connective tissue in chi-kung. That was interesting. Yet, it appears to be from the Pleiades, the comet / superbolide and is the Thunderweapon of death via fire from the sky. Ken is great at explaining the overview. Your question is one related to a specific plane of reality, all of which exist within ones consciousness. Sure, its not the breath per se, but as with the OM example, the sound you make, rather like his favorite radio example, " tunes" you in to such levels. The sound (shabda in Yogic language..mantra in ours) is carried on the breath. The most advanced I have discovered (and has been validated by past and current masters) is HUUUUU. After using this daily for about 20 minutes about 50 years ago, I was astounded of how much I understood about the spiritual metaphysical life and how it is manifest in day to day life. Legit masters will give specific mantras to individuals to match ther current awareness level. Interestingly enough (and no surprise really,) science has recognised , within that language, that light eminates from the primal sound.

Point taken on meditating breath work not leading to a higher level of wisdom, but breath is a great way for the conscious mind to regain control of the usually subconscious sympathetic nervous system. That aspect of breath work is not worthy of being belittled, especially when the sympathetic nervous system has gone wild due PUFA reactive cell and organelle membranes saturated in a sea of toxic inorganic iron overload.
