They were truly better than all their contemporaries. Panic! being named after one of their lyrics, (while the fucking band's name is LITERALLY "Name Taken.",) is some of the craziest irony in music history, I swear.

I told my coworker today about them. Hopefully she digs them, I definitely told her that panic took their name from the lyrics. So even they were influenced in some way by name taken
