This is probably the single best example of this genre. If you like pop-punk, you'll never find a better song than this. Amazing tune.

What genre is that? Because it's not pop-punk, pop implies being popular and mainstream typically on a mainstream label and these guys were independent and I don't remember hearing them even on the local LA/OC or SD stations like KROQ or 91x or any establishment broadcasting media for that matter. Blink 182, Sum41, Good Charlotte ... those are examples of pop-punk.

My friend was self harming and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. They are now in an intensive outpatient program. I am working on a mix CD to help them feel better, to remind them they are valuable and loved, but i want the mix to also be cathartic. this song came to mind, but then i realized i ends with suicide ....so definitely NOT putting it on the mix. great song though, I used to listen to it all the time, it really helped me, I just dont want it to be a trigger for my friend.

I think its dope. Hits the feels pretty hard. His voice is shaky and the bass is drowning out the guitar. The mix could be better. But, who cares? They went hard and it's moving. Don't have to be Ed Sheeran to make dope music.

I used to love this back about 22 years ago. Sounds childish now whereas a lot of music I liked back then still sounds great.
