How fast did the car come off the wheel. Did someone sneak in and take it off while he handed the keys over
@ProWrestlingWeekly Жыл бұрын
Edit: Upon further review/research, the Car panel is removable. In the time that Tom Kennedy was giving the $400 and the keys, a stage hand turned the outer wheel so that the double was at the top and the Car panel was on the lower right side behind Julie. The Car panel was removed and replaced with a panel that blends in with the rest of the non-Double outer wheel design. Original response below… If I had to guess, the design appears as though two separate outer and inner wheels were built: one with the car on the outer wheel along with the two doubles, and one with just the two doubles. Just as that hexagonal wall rotated at 1:21 to bring in the initial Melody Roulette wheel, I’m guessing around 6:35 they rotated the wall again with the second inner/outer wheel, and the backstage crew had the inner wheel set at the $400 spot as it was previously spun. That’s why they kept the one camera shot so long as Tom Kennedy was counting out the money and handing over the car keys, so the crew could make sure the wheel was in place. The rotation seems similar to a trilon, like you’d see in the Pyramid winners circle bonus round, Concentration’s 30 panels in the 1950s to the 70s, and the Wheel of Fortune letters prior to them becoming digital. In this case, it’s four-sided: -The main hexagon design from the start -The Melody Roulette wheel with the car -The Melody Roulette wheel without the car -The Golden Medley Showdown countdown clock

DLR Young We had just moved to Winston Salem, NC from Lansdale, PA. Most of her prizes were appliances, cash, the car and a trip. My parents decided to sell most of the prizes, including the car, and convert the existing garage into a den and built a new 3 car garage. They weren’t able to sell the trip to Tahiti. The trip originated in LA and you had to get yourself to LA and back then that was expensive so they gave the trip up. The smaller prizes she kept and most were delivered by UPS. Back then UPS rarely did residential deliveries and he came to the house so often bringing prizes we got to know the UPS driver :) They had to pay taxes on all the prizes either accepted or sold.
