Here’s how statistics work. The top eight answers added up to 75 meaning 25 votes were not for any of the groups shown. In eighth place was Metallica with 5 votes. It is possible that there could have been one or even two groups to also have 5 and if this is the case the producer will let someone on staff choose which to showcase. Or there wasn’t a tie, either way I did an unscientific poll of my own and read the comments and counted the first 25 bands mentioned that were not in the eight mentioned and pretended that they were the missing votes. @@jakemore949 I think it's a nuance.. Beatles body of work and impact on the world is like no other no doubt. a rock solid number 2. but the issue is BEST rock and roll band. and in terms of straight up rock n roll Led Zeppelins talent and mastery of rock and roll has no peers

I’m at the beginning of and my guess is Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who and Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band. My personal top five is Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Pink Floyd and Lynyrd Skynyrd

@@kurtmorris454 Despite not personally thinking so, I knew Queen would make the cut. This might be 20 years ago, but I remember seeing a list in some British music magazine that shocked me by naming Queen the best British band of all time. I expected them to probably make top ten, but I also thought that, even if you really loved them, you couldn't realistically place them higher than 4th.

@@joecyclone world wide Queen and ABBA (another one of my favorite groups) ranks right behind the Beatles of all time greatest bands. At least as far as success. In Great Britain Queen ranks the best. Only in the US did Queen and Abba not top the charts with everything they did.
