Looks like you had an awesome trip! I went to Namibia on a road trip in November last year and it looks like you rented the same car that I had (or very simialr)! It was from Savanna car hire and looked like that. So cool! 😅

Amazing piece of work. Thanks for sharing. Why so many Questions ? Coz we are in serious planning mode for an epic Overland from NBO to CPT in a bespoke heavily modified 4x4 Land Cruiser with Tent on roof etc. Drone used .... ? How easy was getting the permit ..? Thnx

Hi Vincent, thats Ugab River. We started that day at the Ugab River Save the Rhino Trust (SRT) camp en went to Twyfelfontein via the Desolation Valley Trail, which is a 4x4 trail of 80km (4,5hrs). Amazing and epic trail! One of the highlights of our trip. Are you planning a trip? If you need any more tips let me know!

Is it oke to use a drone in the national parks of namibia?
@johannabauer54436 жыл бұрын
Hela Ch It depends on the National Park. You're not allowed to use a drone in Etosha but I think you are allowed to in the other parks
@jakevds6 жыл бұрын
Namibia changed her drone laws last year, I think you now have to report bringing a drone before entering the country. And it is not allowed to fly in the national parks, which I didn't know when flying in Deadvlei. Got into some trouble because of it and from that point didn't fly in the parks. Keep in mind when flying in other places where there are animals that you keep enough distance not to scare them.

Great video BTW We decided to not take a drone for upcoming trip. Regulations are very strict now and flying in national parks is prohibited as far as I read. And actually also according to what I could find above campsites, roads etc. Probably not so much of an issue, but to avoid issues we will skip it :-)
