Can we all agree that Namjoon and Yoongi’s friendship is absolutely insane. They’ve been together for 10 years, in those years they’ve struggled and succeeded together. Whenever disrespect happen like that man that insulted BTS for being “girls” or wearing makeup, for not being real “hiphop” and etc. That man said it to a a very young teen, in front of others. Namjoon answered calmly and tried to politely talk to them while Yoongi always keeps silent. The same way in this press conference where this YG reporter mentioned “plagiarism”, Namjoon tries to clarify and politely ask him, he gave that reporter a chance to back down. Yoongi lets Namjoon handle these things. But when its clear Namjoon said his part, he immediately comes to take over the pressure from Namjoon and coldly or bluntly shoots them down. They balance each other out, like yin and yang. I remember Yoongi mentioning how they used to fight and how he was so competitive back then. They both grew together and that dynamic is so amazing to watch. They have developed trust in each other, a perfect mix of professionalism and friends. Jin rarely uses his “hyung” card, while Yoongi takes over Namjoon when Joon needs saving from the pressure of media, Jin doesn’t but instead stays beside Namjoon silently supporting him. What do I mean by this? Jin is actually an introvert and similar to Yoongi (same MBTI and they both expressed how they like their dynamics that’s why they’re roommates they just understood each other). I’m rambling but yes Jin and Namjoon dynamics in a nutshell is Joon getting pressured, Yoongi taking over, Jin offering Namjoon comfort. Out of all the boys, Namjoon is more like his “maknae” side with Jin. He’s the leader, he can’t help but lead. He takes that persona off around Jin. Literally caught in the middle of hyung and maknae line. He acts more goofy around Jin and expresses how he’s thankful Jin helps him from that heavy load as well. He may be the leader but he also needs to be babied and coddled. He’s in a way, still a child, around hyung line. Still their dongsaeng. Hoseok on the other hand (this is my observation) is the main dancer right? He leads them as well. If Namjoon wasn’t the leader of BTS, Hoseok would be the next option. He’s strict and firm underneath the funny and bubbly personality. Its hard to explain, but Hoseok has this aura.. he can lead for real. He’s the member that would also help Joon in leading, like an assistant leader or smth. The difference with him and Yoongi is he leads as well while Yoongi only takes over when worse comes to worse. Hoseok literally guides and leads them as if he’s Namjoon’s second in command or smth. In the maknae line, Jimin leads. Obviously because he’s older. He knows how to correct and explain it to Tae and JK. If he’s not having it, he’s not having it. He follows Joon’s lead well, and backs up the hyung line in scolding the maknae line. Remember when Tae and Jin fought on burn the stage? He asked Jin to listen more, told Tae to remember that Jin is older and even dragged JK into the mix. Told Tae and JK that they should remember the authority of hyung line still. He’s known as a perfectionist but over the years he’s less harder on himself (LETS GET IT JIMINIE), before it was mentioned by Namjoon that out of all the members Jimin was the most adult. Ah yes, Taehyung and Jungkook. They literally follow their hyungs. They’re literally maknaes. I can’t explain it anymore but JK admired Namjoon as we all know and would follow ALL of the members requests no matter what. Taehyung will follow his hyungs the same. I’ve been seeing people say “oh tae has changed” literally he only grew up. He’s the same boy but he grew up, he be looking cool and handsome but the tannies still treat him like their baby as well. In conclusion, JK and Tae Bangtan’s babies. I’ve made this long as comment because its my observation of their group dynamics. Its so well wired. They know when to stop and when to proceed, they trust, respect and love each other. They balanced friendship and professionalism. They work like friends, family and colleagues all in one but more like family. They went through all these bullshit and still came out stronger than ever because they trust each other, respect each others space, have the same goal in mind, they have GREAT communication, and what each member lacks another member fills in. They balance each other. They work so well, and their teamwork over time has only improved. BTS isn’t BTS without one member, take one out and it ruins the balance. Namjoon takes the front row as he leads them, hoseok takes the very back ready to protect the end, yoongi stays at Joon’s side always ready to back him up, Maknae like are on the middle of it all waiting for their hyungs to lead, and Jin is at the back near hobi ready to jump in and ease the atmosphere if anyone needs it. It feels like destiny that they’re BTS that we know today. Its corny but it literally feels unreal how they work as a team. They don’t let pride ruin their team, they’re ready to do anything for the good of the team. I think that’s admirable of them all.

so the one scene where RM got mad at V for drinking water was during a live performance yes. They had just performed their song Home and had a few seconds to take a breather which was why Tae asked for water while they got ready for their next song. Taehyung was the one who would start the next song which was Mikrokosmos which meant the camera would be on him for the opening of the song. This was why Joon didn't want him to drink water at that moment because Tae could risk missing his cue. I believe this was a performance in Japan but correct me if im wrong :)

what i love about the clip with the reporter is that you clearly can see, how important the hyung line is. Yoongi or Jin or Namjoon (as Leader) are most likely the ones that handle questions like this, for instance military service. RM got mad or felt offended (I mean who wouldnt) but he heard Yoongi and didnt answer. If Namjoon would have answered he would have made an inappropiated comment or would have not handle that situation in that moment that well. Yoongi on the other hand has this calm self esteem that is a benefit if you get such questions because he doesnt panic or shows his emotions since like said he has a really relaxed and calm self esteem. Namjoon is so important as leader and moments like that were he gets mad show that he is the leader. He always looks at award shows who will speak next, if somebody is missing, if they listen and dont talk. He always encourage the boys to talk and wants them to focus in serious situations. But moments like the reporter shows how good the teamwork is between them. He was aware in that moment that it would be better not to answer it, especially if there is another member that can do it way better. Yes, Namjoon is the leader but he himself said actually he is only the face at speeches (eventhough I kind disagree with that). They help each other out and balance tasks, positions and what I dont know perfectly. Since we know that those moments show that he for a reason is the leader and has the eye over everything and a clear vision in most situations. In conclusion Namjoon is scary and you respect him if he gets mad but in the end it is exactly the leader quality he has. The maknae line are just chaotic and more childish and therefore Namjoon has to handle that in specific situations and does it really well in my opinion.

Quick thing I noticed and loved during the rude interviewer part. Jimin just STARES HIM DOWN! I know for a fact how many interviews and even my friend who was once there for such interview are just super intimidated by Jimin. Once they are seated, at first, he just stares down each interviewer one by one. He would also stop at one (by choice or random, I don't know) and would stare them down until they "lose" this little game and turn their gaze away. Then he also stares down at every one of them who speaks up, and depending on the question, he would either keep staring and killing with his stern expression or smile and giving the "you're good" kinda approval. It's a whole GAME for him and I kinda love it. The *POWER* that he exudes in close proximity is crazy! P.S.: when that reporter asked the question, Joonie was clarifying with other members what paper or magazine (or agency) he was from. Blacklisted that bitch FOR SURE!

Just an insight, that man who asked that rude and very out of place an uncalled for questiob was actually a press hired from YG ent. They really tried.
