What I like about your models is this!! The volume is not in the way of the bridge pickup! I sometimes touch the volume when strumming! AWESOME GUITARS! I JUST LOVE THEM!!!

I just found out about the 4N and it turns out I am the original owner! I owned it from 1991 to 2005 (I didn't sell it to Nuno though, I sold it to someone else on eBay). I'm the guy who had it signed by Nuno in 1993. I made a video to tell the story of the guitar and share a bunch of picture I took of it over the years. Personally, I want Washburn to bring back the old Chicago Series KC Superstrats but with modern features, like Evertune bridges, Gotoh locking tuners, either Seymour Duncans or EMG's, etc. As for finishes, either flame maple caps or the old crackles.

Nuno has a N4 of which the N4 Authentic is meant to be an copy of (mixed set of tuners, play wear, different input Jack etc etc). The N4 Vintage is a cleaner version of the N4. The 4N is an entirely different guitar that Nuno plays and the 4N Washburn just released is meant to be a copy of that. Not too hard to follow the logic really...

So the N4 Vintage was a copy of his #1 guitar. Then when they released the N4 Authentic a couple of years later they said it was an “exact” copy of Nuno’s #1 guitar. And now this new “4N” is what - an even more exact copy of it? I’m confused...

I remember trying an original Idol electric about a decade ago and loving the body shape. Out of curiosity I just decided to see if there were any used ones. I was surprised to see a new line up. I was really excited when I saw the Tele style! I was ready to buy one and started looking at the pics. Then I was like whoa, wait a minute.......where's the body contours. WTF! Son of a bitch.....why, why'd they do that.

Washburn might as well close down. The only guitar company in the world that doesn't respond to messages and emails. Would I recommend Washburn? NO

This video is shameless self promotion. I personally will never buy anything from Washburn again. For all their glitzy sales pitch, they don't respond to customer service inquiries. In other words the message is, "Buy our instruments, then get lost - we don't want anything else to do with you." And while their guitars may look nice, they have an extremely shallow sound, sort of like a plastic guitar.
