YT likes to play Jedi Mind Tricks, because I saw your reply explaining you made a mix up on my name but now the comment is gone. It was late when I read it so was going to reply in the morning. At some point I thought maybe you saw at the bottom right of my videos I watermark it with an abbreviation of my last name (Klim) but for this video (and the previous one) I forgot to watermark it. So in a way you helped remind me to do it in the future ;) Klim is close to Tim. Also, here was a couple of guys a few seats away in the next row that also had a nice camera at the show and I thought maybe you knew them and one was named Tim and you thought my video was his. Anyway, thanks for the nice comment! I uploaded a 2nd video from RMR after this one and 1 more just an hour ago, in case you want to see them too. Take care! \m/

Sat next to you at the 2020 Montrose show. Little did we know the world would end a few weeks later with Covid. Couldn't get back for this show, but grateful you've got this and more coming. Excellent job! Great video work as always.

Fabulous! Is that a7iv? I’m shopping for a full frame 35mm. All that’s missing is Sammy. ⭐️👍🏼

When you said it's only missing Sammy, my mind was thinking "but I was using a Sammy 135 mm F1.8 lens" (Sammy = Samyang). Yes, it was the A7iv. Only thing I don't like about it is that when using the viewfinder, touch -to-drag the focus point does not work. It only works when using the display. My crop Canon M50 has it. I think if I knew about this before I bought it, I may have purchased the Canon R6. If I didn't own the camera now, I more likely would be getting the R6ii. At least the Sony has a joystick I can use with the VF. But it takes more skill to move it around as quickly and precisely and to keep the camera from shaking. The Canon also has no crop at 4k60 (but I know you usually use 24fps) and it has way less rolling shutter at 4k24/30 in FF mode. And if you record in 4K for long periods, the Sony may overheat (the mark ii has improved a lot over the mark i and will record longer than the Sony). It's just that the Canon lenses are very expensive and no 3rd party AF lenses available (which are almost as good but cost a lot less). Good luck on your purchase!

@@3VAudioVideo Those are above my price range, I was looking at Nikon z7ii or Sony a6700 used eBay. For family, landscape, wildlife. Not allowed in 95% venues. Thanks!

a6700 is a real good camera (but not sure if you know it is not a FF 35mm). I got my gf the 6400. 6700 has In Body Image Stabalization and excellent with rolling shutter (way better than my a7iv). You'll get more reach/zoom using the same FF lens on a FF body (good for wildlife) and you can use the lighter/smaller/less expensive crop lenses. the z7ii is real nice and most will like its better ergonomics and ease of use, all adding up to being more fun to use. Plus a little sharper with the extra MP. New it cost the same as the a7iv. I'm guessing the a7iv is harder to find at a good price used as the z7ii?

@@3VAudioVideo Most Sonys overheat eventually, except for the fx 30 has a fan. I’ve had to use my phone to finish a concert. My first camera was Nikon D80, thanks for your expertise camera advise!
