Namora is the latest ocean-themed card in Marvel Snap, so I had to try her out with Orka, Namor, Attuma, and more! It did not go well.
Decklist: snap.untapped....
Power Estimate: This deck felt quite bad. Namora might be a powerful card on her own, but forcing her into a dedicated "ocean man" package with other weaker solo lane cards seemed like far too much of a commitment to that plan, at least in a ramp shell anyway.

Iirc there is actually a giganto who was a whale monster that was somewhat related to namor coincidentally, so therefore regis must be correct

There's actually 2 gigantos. One is namor's pet whale, the other is from monster Island/ subterranea I believe and he's the first monster/villain the fantastic four ever fight. He's on the 1960s FF issue 1 cover page too

I wish SD would do limited time arcade modes where you make a deck that has to have specific cards. Like if this weekend everybody could use the Atlanteans whether they owned them or not in that mode but they had no choice but to use them. Give people a chance to try out the new cards while doing something goofy and off meta.

I’m also blown away people think namora is bad. She is so frequently just a 5/11 sometimes a 5/16. I think people just don’t want to play so mindfully in the early game to make her work.

So I am back on SNAP after not really doing anything this month. I got the spotlight cache at 6634 collection rank and got the random which was a HOPE SUMMERS and Skaar. I am OK with not getting the two others at this point ;). Also just to clarify yes I am free to play for a year and some change now ;).

Glad to see Ocean Man again hahaha. I think Namora is solid but at least for me it just doesn't fit my playstyle and with the upcoming cards is hard to use resources in just having a big stick, same as with Sage and Sasquatch next week, only that Sasquatch is for the zoo dream xd

I think buffing namor and orca can't be destroyed like ebony blade, make them playable againts the meta deck. Since SD can buff Cap, why not the other card too.

she is not bad, at best she is OK, in the perfect scenario she is solid as you said, however for what I have seen in practicality while playing the game is not very common for people to play only one card and then the rest of the deck on a single location, also, the data sometimes can be very tricky because yes, the #1 deck with her is the most efficient, but for what it looks like by this time rate it's only that one deck but at the end of the day time will tell if she can be as impactful as Ms. marvel (of which by the way I haven't seen much play of her lately) but let's see.
