This has been a very long overdue vlog of a few collective trips to Nan and Chiang Mai over the past few years. Chiang Mai is a place my family and I frequently visited since I was young (my family preferred mountains over the sea, so we just always ended up north). Nowadays, it's a really nice place for cafe-hopping (some people even find it nicer than Bangkok). Meanwhile, Nan is a province that I find to be very special in preserving its rich culture.
This vlog will take you through places to visit in Nan, whether it be the beautiful temples, traditional homes, cafes or places to see the Thai silk weavers. While the second half of the vlog will be a cafe-hopping and food vlog as I take you around the best places to eat in Chiang Mai!

I prefer the sea! I don't like hiking as much😅 but visiting Thailand is on my bucketlist! Not exactly sure which part of Thailand but Thailand in general is a must visit place!

I just returned from Bangkok last week, and this video makes me really want to visit northern Thailand! Admittedly I've only visited the popular destinations like Bangkok and Phuket, but this really makes me want to visit the lesser visited areas of Thailand! All these places look absolutely amazing. Yet another aesthetic travel vlog, thank you so much :)

this is known as thai silk! different regions have different patterns so it depends on where you go so it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly where to go :)but a place that many go to is jim thompson’s factory outlet which is probably a good option if you’re in Bangkok :) - the patterns are more modern and so can be worn more!

@@absentabroad looks like it will be expensive in Jim Thompson, Sukhumvit Area one right? Any idea about the price range? And what about in Chiang Mai?

@@TemProduction Yes (the factory outlet)! But I haven’t been in a while so I’m not quite sure about the price range but another place just came to mind: The Old Siam - they sell both pre-made Thai silk skirts, and also fabric in yards (prices can range from 700+ to 10000+ depending on how complex the pattern is) :) - I think this is probably the safer bet!
