Nana is like that toxic relationship from the past, the one where you were really emotionaly attached to your partner (in a very unhealthy way), but suddenly everything ended without any explanation. And here you are, ten years later, still remembering, and hurting from time to time, licking your wounds like a stray cat, trying to forget but at the same time still holding onto those memories not really being able to let go just yet. It's not that you didn't love eachother, because you did! It was passionate, you had beautiful ups and terrible downs, but you still managed to stay together for a long time. It ended fast, and you never got any explanation, an official ending, anything! Just unanswered questions... And the feeling that you will never be 100% okay as long as you don't close that chapter.

It's been 7 years since AI Yazawa stopped drawing Nana and I still wish she'll continue it. I miss this manga so much and the anime is so magical and perfect. It really is a shame. I hope she'll feel better soon. This song always makes me cry, I'm soooo sad!!

This song is full of Nana’s feelings. She hates being weak and she always have to put fake smiles to her face just to look strong. It was all her life. She can’t stand herself. She always depend on others and feels so lonely when Ren or Yasu not around. Now Ren died, she can’t take it, and leaves everyone and everyhing behind. Even her Vivienne Westwood jacket and Ren’s guitar... She knows it’s selfish of her but at least that way she doesn’t depend on others and become a burden. She justs sings alone on the stage and this is enough for her. Edit: sorry if I spoiled it for you but the manga came out 20 years ago and it’s on hiatus for over 10 years. You had plenty of time to read it. Stop whining about it. It’s like trying to avoid Shawshank Redemption’s ending which the protagonist escapes the prison by the way.

I saw Anna Tsuchiya live singing this song and other op songs last year, she sounded amazing and i was moved. Literally felt like I was in Nana's concert, she was singing right in front of me!! T^T

no words can describe how much i love Nana. I've only finished it about a year ago and i felt like i've been watching it my entire life. whenever i hear the songs or get reminded of this anime, i get all nostalgic.

I'm watching Nana for the first time, 4 episodes left to the end, and I'm very sad that the series is coming to an end. This ED has soaked into my soul. I got goosebumps every time this song started to play. Thanks to Anna Tsuchiya for such a wonderful soundtrack. Words cannot describe what kind of vivid emotions Nana evoked in me... Like an extreme ride on an emotional rollercoster. I finally found an anime that impressed me as much as Monster did.

I feel like this anime/manga is a curse lol even after all these years, my heart is burning with sadness everytime I listen to this song or see a snippet of the anime or read a page of the manga, too many memories and too much attachment to such a masterpiece of a series. still waiting for the continuation, after all these years )= but of course Ai Yazawa's health is more important. They said they would make a season two if the manga ends. Can't wait for it. I love the manga, but the anime makes it much more alive, also with all this music, you feel every pain, every tear and every laugh... The story is amazing.

There will never be an anime like nana.. The songs and the storyline... It crushes my heart everytime i listen this anime's songs. I can not make people understand that feelings inside mine..it just keeps burning me till i die..

This is one of my all time favorite anime. It was so real and emotional. The character development had me associating with all the characters. I cried, and I mean really cried. Whenever I hear this song I get goosebumps. I will always hold this dear to my heart.

I really enjoy Ai Yazawa's works, I've read Gokinjo no Mongatari, Paradise Kiss and Nana, she is a master story teller and an amazing artist with unique style, just an inspiration for other artist like me, it's shame Nana couldn't be continued.

Every time the beginning of the song plays, I think about every time Hachi says “Hey Nana” at the end of the episodes. Brings me to tears.

I feel like this anime and, most of all, this song and the other opening called Rose, had given me the biggest depression that I could ever have. I mean, I have my problems and stuff, but thanks to Nana it's like I became a 80% more sensitive about things. I don't know, maybe this is bullshit but it's what I feel.

It has been 10-14 years since I first watched and read NaNa...and ever since that first day. NaNa has been a part of me. Everyday I listen to the music from the show or remember a scene that brings tears to my eyes. And even though it has been a lifetime since it went on hiatus...I still have hope for a proper ending. I want to see them buy new strawberry glasses.

Hearing this song just makes me tear up. I remember reading Nana and sharing it with all my friends in my high school back in 2010. They all loved it and we would always sing these Nana songs in K together. Fast forward 14-15 years later and I'm still in contact with only one of those friends 🥲 We have all moved on but I hope the memories in these songs will carry on.

Ever since I started watching Anime, Clannad was my favorite. I was convinced I would never find another anime that is able to let me feel so attached to the characters. But here I am. I just finished Nana and I feel nothing but emptiness.... If someone is going to ask me about my favorite Anime from now on the answer wont be "just" clannad.

This is the best Nana edit I've ever watched, I can't even describe all the sensations it gives me. I think the sound and the lyrics of the song perfectly represent Nana Osaki' soul and struggles, along with her relationship with Hachi. i need to rant,, i watch this anime for the first time when i was like 11 and i cried and everything, but now that i'm 23 i can undersand better that this anime is the real life, you'll never know what will happen and you're just living your life "the best" you can, idk it gave me such a different vibe now that i see it again anyways idk if this made sense but yeah,,,, it's been 12 years since the last publication of the manga and i still have hope someday Yazawa continue it or idk whatever, i hope they're doing fine

i first started watching 'nana' when i was 17, back then i didnt finished watched only first few episodes. not gonna say, i didnt finish it bc i didnt like it. maybe i wasnt emotionally ready for that at that time. then, at my 20s, i found 'nana' again and watched it. now im kinda glad that i didnt watched it earlier bc only now im able to understand this anime fully. im not emotional person or dont relate any of this characters. so thats why, it was really difficult for me to understand them. now i wonder....do people really feel like this irl too?
