I wish you all would just make an ETF already, be an easy place to just park cash in sensible companies rather than just woodstocks.

That's somewhere in the Nanalyze product roadmap but requires a lot more resources than we have at the moment. As we get more subscribers and build our brand, we'll be in a better place for a successful ETF launch. Spreading the word about our content will help build our brand which will bring us closer to an ETF. Our dividend growth investing strategy - Quantigence - is perhaps best suited to an ETF, and that's an investment strategy that's really flying under the radar - which is why Nanalyze Premium subscribers are signing up left and right. Thank you for the great suggestion!

I have used xometry and protolabs and the customer experience is so much better with xometry. Xom is also much more forgiving for those with little engineering knowledge and allows for more “finished parts” with their options so I could buy low running production parts, where with protolabs I had to limit them to prototype work only.

Always interesting to hear from actual users of these platforms. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Interesting to see Xometry leading while ProtoLabs stalls. Definitely makes Xometry an attractive stock. I was lucky enough to re-enter XMTR at $41 and $39 after the earnings drop. It felt like a massive overreaction. Thanks for another quality video!

You're welcome. Watching them overtake Protolabs was like an MBA case study on the relative merits of two competing business models (one we got wrong). Also agree that the earnings drop seemed like an overreaction. In this volatile market, nothing really shocks us anymore when it comes to how low some boats can go as the QQQ tide continues to fall.

Good video, Joe! I am heavy in NNDM and light in DDD. Great company that I am not willing to invest in.

Nothing but insider selling in 2022. Any thoughts?

Insider selling always needs to be put into context. Who is selling? How much are they selling relative to their overall position? We don't dig into this much because these signals are often lots of extra noise. It's expected that employees - especially those who were around for a while before the company became publicly traded - would want to diversify their wealth. We're more concerned with the viability of the overall distributed manufacturing business model which - according to revenue growth - seems to be viable. If this indeed saves firms' money, then it should enjoy sustained growth in a bear market.

@@Nanalyze The sales are quite overwhelming as outlined below and include CEO, CFO, COO and a number of Directors. Certainly explains the Q4 plunge, and to me signals they're anticipating a very bad 2023... INSIDER TRADE: 3 MONTHS, 12 MONTHS Number of Shares Bought: 0, 218,605 Number of Shares Sold: 165,237, 4,011,908 Total Shares Traded: 165,237, 4,230,513 Net Activity: (165,237), (3,793,303)

Thank you very much for the added info! Perhaps they're trying to time the market then if expecting a bad 2023? Our understanding is that companies are extremely aware about what insider selling telegraphs to Wall Street. For example, there will be BOD-level policies in place about who can sell during what windows - and they'll usually require approval beforehand. What we'll do is look to write a research piece on insider selling using any academic studies we can come across. We'll try to find simple metrics that can be used to analyze the degree of concern one might assign to any particular situation. That said, these are not signals we would ever include in our own methodology as they're just too noisy and add unwanted complexity for your average retail investor. Good comment, thank you.

@@jamesgrasso1980 We're sending an alert to paying subscribers shortly, but it all comes down to this. When a management team misses guidance for the first time ever following a scathing short report, then fails to even mention said short report, it's insulting to investors and exhibits total arrogance.
