Featured Assets of Local Tourism Routinely every week the local community of Pampang Village holds a performance of the Dayak traditional dance. For tourists who want to enjoy the traditional dance offerings, they can come on Sunday or the day before, because this performance is only held every Sunday from 14.00 WITA - 15.00 WITA.
This traditional Dayak dance is held in a traditional house called Lamin Adat Pamung Tawai. This traditional house is made of Ulin wood with decorations and carvings on almost all parts of the walls. This can be seen clearly from the main wall (backdrop) filled with Dayak carvings with dominant black, white, and yellow colors. Likewise with the pillars of the house with a diameter of two meters decorated with beautiful carvings. On the roof made of shingle wood, there are solid carvings in the middle and corners. To be able to watch the cultural performance of traditional dances in the Dayak Pampang Village of Samarinda, visitors are charged Rp. 40,000 per person. After enjoying the dance offerings, tourists can take pictures with local natives, of course, wearing traditional Dayak clothes.
