I mean, I agree with both of you, but personally I like Park because of comfort energy he brings to the table. He is someone anybody can relate to in a way, and I like the dynamic between them because it makes me think of a very valuable good, healthy friendship and I wouldn’t be mad if he stays next season (if he doesn’t turn out evil, with this show we’ll never know!) for them to keep working on that friendship between them, FRIENDSHIP. . . Now Nace, lordy lord I love them with all my heart and I know we, the Nace nation, we’ll going to get them eventually but right now I am pleased with the way the things are going because at the end of the day it’s a slow burn. The writers previewed back when the season started a “love triangle” with Park and Ace “competing” for Nancy’s affection and honestly, that’s yet to be seen but it’s unlikely that will happen at least this season and if it happens, I think it’s gonna be next szn - that assuming the show get renewed for another season - and like that wouldn’t make any sense because think about, Park hasn’t shown ANY sign of attraction towards Nancy at all, yes he cares about her and her well being but no more than that; from Nancy’s POV yes, we see she is attached to him, maybe attracted and that’s fine because honestly who wouldn’t, Park is a well known grown man who has his life together, stable job and mostly, understand her mind and how she acts and he is alright with it but even being what “Nancy needs” still wouldn’t make any sense for a grown man to be “competing” with a mid 21-year-old (Ace) for the affection of an early 19-year-old, like just no, it’s impossible that could happen. I’m hoping next episode, we would see to who actually are Nancy’s feelings going towards to, like a very emotional battle in within herself when working with Park and “growing closer together” and Ace being in trouble and she dropping everything to go help him, that’s gotta make change everything an from Park view, I am hoping he’ll see how much Nancy worries and cares about Ace to catch the same “vibe” Amanda did back in 2x12 or that Bess/George catch since szn 2, and he’ll back down a little from Nancy’s life (i mean i’ll be mad if that doesn’t happen cause the guy is an FBI profiler, he is supposed to catch basic human feelings and emotions!).
