見てたら眠くなってきました（笑）私の親戚の伯父さんもプラモデルが大好きでした。デカールの余白部分もカットし、デカール面とクリア層面ギリギリで水研ぎしたり真鍮パーツなども使って、かなり作り込んでましたね。そんな伯父さんも90近くになり、目も悪くなり、細かい作業も出来なくなり認知症の症状も出て来て、いつしか作っている姿を見なくなってしまいました。こちらの動画を拝見させて頂いて、懐かしい小さい頃の思い出が蘇ってきました。ありがとうございました。

I have watched almost your entire series on this build... this is without a doubt some of the most incredible workmanship I have seen. I have learned so much from watching your build series. The Europa is also one of my very favourite cars... I am completely in awe and humbled by your skills... your video production and editing is also terrific. I can not thank you enough for documenting and sharing your skills with us. Would you consider doing a build where you convert Tamiya Lotus 7 to Caterham 7? I can not wait to see what you do next. これは、まさしく「愛」です。主さまのようにはできないですが、自分なりの愛を込めてモデリングしていきたいです。個人的にはドア開閉用のバラシ後のピラーやサイドシル下部のほっそいところがしっかり無事に生きていることに平凡ながらとても感動しています。いつもありがとうございます。

Beautiful. I've always loved model kits since a young age. Dinosaurs, Airfix planes etc, then the odd imported Japanese SciFi model such as Xabungle and Vifam series from Bandai. Always to a competent level but never beyond that, I just don't have the patience. Would actually love to find someone with the skills seen here who would be happy to sell on their finished model work so I could admire a high quality model without needing the skills lol.

はじめまして！半年ほど前からカーモデルを作り始めた若造です！内装のメーター部の造り込みには圧巻の一言でした…！こんなに細かい作業、自分なら力加減をミスってデカールがぐちゃぐちゃになってしまいそうです😂 とにかくこれからもたくさん見させていただいて、たくさん参考にさせていただきます！😄

That is a great build, but the nicest surprise was at the end. I actually went for a drive in HNG669L. My cousin married a guy who did road tests for Motor magazine in the UK. Toward the end of 1972, he visited us while driving that actual car, and I went out on a memorable road trip. What a thing for a 10 year old kid!

Now that's what I call true dedication. I have never been a fan of the Lotus Europa, but the amount of detail you put into this is truly awe-inspiring, and I would be proud to have this in my display case. Excellent job !

【素晴らし過ぎ！】いつも驚く事、それは“実車並みの車体の光沢”の秘密。どうやってこんな光沢が出るのか不思議でした。 “ここまでやるのか！”と、驚きました。絶対スプレー塗装しただけでは、無理なんです。キレイな光沢に見えても、よ～く見ると細密な凹凸がありますよね。さらにそれを何度もコンパウンドし、その工程を繰り返すという事ですね！大変参考になりました、ありがとうございます！驚きだけではなく、もう感動しちゃってます、何もかもが凄くて！

Very true, I worked for Victoria Speed Concessioners, a Lotus dealer, when VAT replaced purchase tax we had to build all of the kit versions left in stock, nothing fitted without fettling.

@@steverushforth7009 sad…did you read what I said about my mate’s Renault engined one?…the alternator suddenly broke off and we had to have the bracket welded back on at some random garage on the way home. Such a shame. I thought it was such a cool car.

@@derrickgreen9020 Yes, the Renault's were awful, the rear deck was too high, the gear linkage was very sloppy, the Ford was a great car if fact if you drove them side by side they felt like completely different cars, while most people would say the Elan S4 roadster was the best at that time, I prepared the Ford-powered Europa. Here is a weird fact, the Europa has Ford Anglia front bumper.

Your video was recommended to me because I watch many fantasy miniature painting videos (and I do a lot of miniature painting myself). I never really considered car model kits seriously before. I really am amazed at how much attention to detail you can put into a model like this, and how wonderfully it came out. Really eye-opening, I can see that this hobby is very beautiful. Thanks for the nice video!

こだわりが凄いですね。細かい作業を見てる時こちらの方が緊張して息するの忘れてました。模型作りは全くの素人なんですが、タイヤが少し沈み込んだり、タイヤの下側が潰れたりすると重量感が出てリアリティーが増すのかもしれないな～と思ったりしました。気を悪くされたらすみません。素人の戯言でした。

I am a perfectionist ... but unfortunately I do not have the steady hand like this master. It's fun he refines a few plastic parts into a work of art.
