Dan actually really likes Lucifer & Lucifer really likes Dan, in S5 he even calls Dan his friend, he even says that he cares about him, and it's actually Dan that pushes Lucifer across the finish line. Lucifer although seems to demean Dan a lot, he actually asks him for advice a lot, Dan interprets it as being mocked but Dan is the only human male Lucifer seems comfortable taking advice from and asking those questions too. Dan accepted his relationship with Chloe was over and he saw how happy Chloe was with Lucifer, also Lucifer hanging out with Trixie a lot would of helped change Dan's mind about him, it's clear Dan prefers Lucifer over Pierce and Jed, which considering the amount of issues between Dan and Lucifer says a lot that he likes Lucifer a lot more than those 2 guys. Dan just tries to be a good guy, he's the support that doesn't get any himself, he supports Chloe at work, in her relationship with Lucifer and as a mother to Trixie, he supports Ella through 2 different crisis', he tried to help Pierce, he helps Amenadiel, he tries to help and support Maze, he's just trying to do the best he can for those around him, which often leads to him making bad decisions something Lucifer can heavily relate too. Dan & Lucifer are 2 sides of the same coin. some of my favourite scenes are the bromance scenes between Dan and Lucifer, seeing Dan laugh at Lucifer's jokes at crime scenes is fantastic as well. even in S5 when Chloe announces she's leaving the LAPD, Dan still supports her and congratulates her on the next chapter of her life without hesitation

@@MasterIceyy also when Dan was kidnapped by Vincent le Mec and they were looking for him, Maze asked Lucifer which criminals’ favors she should pay out and he said all of them, showing that he really cared about Dan and finding him as fast as possible, not wanting him to get hurt, so much so that he doesn’t care about criminals not owing him anymore if it leads to them finding Dan

I think it was really solidified when they rescued Chloe from Michael at the zoo. Dan was still melting down about finding out about celestial stuff and didn't trust lucifer but when he saw them together and said "He really cares about her, doesn't he?" I think he was fully on board after that moment.

Chloe only stayed 2 minutes at Lucifer's "birthday" party at Lux in Season 1, but got upset when left her party in Season 3. Not jealous, hogs his bed while naked, wears his clothes and breaks into his penthouse whenever she feels like it. Not jealous . . .

A big part of Chloes character is her denial, although it isn't spoken about a lot she has buckets of it. She denies liking Lucifer when they first meet despite later on in S6 she admits she did, she knew deep down he was the Devil, after she shoots him but she can't understand how she could love the devil so she just denies it constantly as it's easier for her than do admit the truth. In 3x24 she even says that she's been avoiding the biggest truth this whole time, because she didn't want to admit she's been desperately in love with the devil for years now. I think S4 is where we see the biggest change in Chloe's character, Lucifer always just wanted to hang around Chloe and was happy to do that, he hated her being with Pierce but he at least kept trying to work with her because Lucifer was trying to separate his love life and work life. Chloe however completely looses Lucifer, her best friend, her work partner, Trixie's step dad pretty much, and I think it's where Chloe realises she's into deep to separate her feelings for him from their work the show doesn't display it well but Lucifer and Chloe don't even see each other for nearly 2 months until the bar fight in S4 then they go another 2 weeks without seeing or talking to each other, after Chloe sees him and Eve together. Then he takes another 2 months off to be with Eve, so Chloe really lost Lucifer entirely and that's why she begs him to stay in 4x10 as she can't bear to lose him again not after they've wasted so much time because of Chloe's own mistakes

Yes, she just tried to transfer her feelings for Lucifer to Pierce because she thought her love for Lucifer was unrequited. That's why this whole relationship with Pierce was so rigid. There was no real feeling there.

It was also the ultimate payback to cuckoldry I've ever seen. Cain screwed Lucifer's girl so Lucifer screwed Cain's mother and caused Chloe to get majorly Jealous. The entire Lucifer/Eve Relationship was both a massive mirror to Chole/Cain but also a massive How do you like it toward Chloe.

After finding out about her association with Father Kinley, he assumed she did not care for him that way anymore. Heck, it's one of the reasons why he was so shocked when she told him she loved him... Bottom line is, when it comes to human/celestial insight, the devil is pretty dumb😭

@@LDR1910 23 and 24 were the best episodes of season 3 and 24 was episode with highest IMDB of all seasons, those episodes are MASTERPIECES. But ep 25 and 26 were very stupid and I didn't understand ANYTHING, but then I got to know, those were just made to extend episodes for order by Fox Ent and that those don't connect to storyline.

Lucifer only comes across as more immature and wild because he's the more emotionally damaged. Chloe may have had her fair share of trauma with her father being killed in the line of duty and her mother being a little absent. her problems are nothing compared to Lucifer's

The difference was Lucifer pushed Chloe away every time she tried to get close to him. He hurt her every time thinking he was helping free her of him. I think Chloe did the Peirce thing for the same reason. My issue with it is that the writers took it to far.

always find it funny that there was once a time when Chloe once had a irrational jealousy and maybe even a dislike of Ella simply because she thought Ella and Lucifer would be a thing one day. i think that may have been a potential plot line that the writers where thinking about but scraped it because Luci and Ella's sibling dynamic works so much better.

S3 has a lot of deleted scenes but Chloe seems to also slightly think that Lucifer is beginning to outshine her. And if he can do that then there's no reason for them work together, she's worried that HER consultant was going to become everyone's consultant and that he'd have no time for her

@@MasterIceyy If thats true then I really regret they scratched it. Season 3 was long and overextended to some degree, this plotline would fill in the meaningfull way the time spended in the season. But I think that it would be hard to fully flash out without introducing at least one more detective to fully show that Lucifer starts working with other policeman than Chloe and Pierce. Definitelly would be great addicion

@@itsjackson91 she kinda did. Unintentionally but she did. Lucifer did it not out of jealousy but out of the fact that Chloe betrayed him Twice the second time being the worst. Lucifer was rubbing it in not because of Cain (that was probably just a small factor) but because Chloe literally betrayed him in one of the worst ways someone could. she basically 180'd and utterly rejected him and reacted the exact way she said she wouldn't even when he told her he had a monstrous side to him.

@@pyromaniac2104 it makes sense tho because Chloe in season 3 did come across as a bit of a stone cold bitch to Lucifer in season 3 for the most part. remember that scene in the interrogation room where Lucifer literally looks like a nervous wreck because of his lack of sleep and he's clearly got issues yet she completely disregards them. while it's not really that massive a problem because it gets resolved rather quickly it does make alot of sense why Lucifer was giving her the same cold shoulder in season 4. it's petty sure but it was satisfying to see her get the "what goes around comes around" treatment because so many shows constantly have the guy simp for the girl even when she's cucking him big time and it never goes in the other direction.
