Minerals refer to uniform solids with a relatively fixed chemical composition and a certain crystal structure formed in the process of geological processes (including the interaction of celestial bodies in the universe). It is the main composition of the earth's lithosphere, and rocks are naturally occurring aggregates composed of one or more minerals, but there are also a few rocks composed of other substances.
All mineral crystals have specific geometric shapes, such as cubes. Some crystals are visible to the naked eye, while others can only be seen under a microscope. At present, there are more than 5000 kinds of minerals discovered and named in the world, and a very small amount of minerals can show unique shapes, colorful colors, special hardness, and show different optical effects in different environments.
