Hi Andy, I wanted to get this out to the community !! . I pulled the trigger on the " NANMU MOSSASARUS ". Two days ago _ on Dec 2nd from BBTS , and now its sitting on my desk in front of me !! , im in Warren Michigan. I have never got a package from BBTS or any one in only two days. ! . I bought it because I'm going to fix the paint and pose 👍

This is one of those times I really wish you would do comparisons to the Mattel versions of things. That would really help when deciding on which one to buy.

As is so often the case with a model,this one is already out of date as scientists have found evidence that mosasaur and others in this order had large vertical tail flukes at the end of its tail similar to a shark,even still,it's a great representation of the Jurassic World creature and is a fantastic looking model in its own right.

I absolutely love how Nanmu displays teeth for land creatures is the most realistic teeth I've ever seen, but in this case, I don't think it works the same with a sea creature, I think very white teeth would have worked better since they have their teeth constantly in water like Orcas so realistically would be constantly cleansed by the water, so if there's one thing Nanmu can improve is in that field, teeth from a sea creature should not look the same as land creatures. Finally, I can criticize something on this brand damn cause their works is always super flawless.

ANDY MY NANMU MOSSASARUS HAS A VERY DIFFERENT PAINT JOB THAN ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS ON LINE ? . MINE IS A DARK BLACK GREEN OVER A DARK GREY . This could be because I bought the figure so late in the run ? . Anyway it doesn't better because I'm RE_PAINTING IT , I WAS EVEN THINKING ABOUT STRIPPING ALL THE PAINT BACK DOWN TO THE VINYL Using green stuff , Then giving it the full paint that I like . This is a pain in the neck and a big MESS BUT THIS SCULPT IS WORTH IT 👍. When it's all finished it will have its own custom base that Simulates the w.dragon base were their base has the mossasarus diving. Andy this is going to be the one I make into prime 1 looking statue 👌, I'm hoping to have it done around February? , but first I'm really deep at work on my " In flight full 20 cm scale KING GHIDORAH 1964 / 65 . SO FAR ITS GOING REALLY GOOD, I will figure out how to send you pictures of both when they're done thank you my brother for all your help 👍

Another great review. I was turned off by the light color, but I see Nanmu has discontinued its Mosasaurus---so do you think Nanmu is planning a completely new Mosasaurus?

You know Nanmu shoukd also make a 2 or 3 versions of Triceratops, one from the 1st film, the sick One, then another from The Lost World and 3rd variant from Jurassic World.....

That mosa look incredible

Have this mosa for two weeks now and the only problem I haven't yet solved is what to use as a stand/base. Just laying him on the belly bends the fins (and looks poorly overall).

I'm waiting for a Jurassic World Baryonyx from Nanmu, I hope it will happen.

I think the reason why the Mosasaurus is cheaper than the Indominus Rex is because it is hollow.

Hm........the paint looks a little.....um plain and cheap in my opinion. Kinda a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the sculp and look of it is amazing, but I'd say the paint(of the body)is a let down from nanmu.😢nice review nonetheless!!

It’s beautiful but it definitely needed to be bigger because it is 60 cm but should be 104 cm bc the mosa in JW was 36.6 meters in length (a guy compared the mosa to the indom, Zara, pteranodon and shark to get an accurate size) and 36.6 divided by 35 is 104cm. Also in FK 6 months after the events of JW the mosa was roughly 70 meters in length (the same guy compared it to the guy hanging from the helicopter in FK and the surfer)
