We know vegito and gogeta is relative in strenght (even though elder Kai stated potara fusion is stronger than fusion dance), so when gogeta blue smacked broly so would vegito blue. Vegito blue beat fused zamasu, but it wasn’t a total domination. Vegeta stated that he had never felt anyone as strong as base jiren, meaning base jiren is stronger than zamasu, and from vegetas initial reaction, I think by a lot. Now as vegito blue was stronger than zamasu, saying base jiren would beat him isn’t right, but he would probably be closer. This means that full power jiren probably could hold of if not beat vegito blue. Yes gogeta blue from broly is stronger than vegito blu from black arc, but I still think vegito blue would beat broly, due to how hard gogeta smacked him around. This is a loose comparison and it was all smoother in my brain, so sorry for that. Final judgement is that jiren beats broly due to the astronomical smack down from gogeta. We also know that jiren is stronger than at least one destroyer god, and that in itself is a substantial feat. Broly didn’t fight either ssjb evolution or MUI, who jiren beat. Final conclusion is that jiren beat broly based on the feats we’ve seen from both of them

Finally someone with a brain. If Broly fights Jiren for a loong time hell eventually get really strong. We dont know if he has a "cap" to his exponential growth though. But Jiren is smart and will realize him growing in strength and just onetap him by going Full Power
