We knew she had native American blood on both paternal sides. But she sought out this history, DNA, connection, on her own. I'm pure Italian. And my Cady's been an absolute force of nature&leader, since the day she was born.

So. Out of the literal thousands of accomplished mixbloods who do portrayals and living history demonstrations year round... Kingsport couldn't find any such individuals to accurately portray Beloved Woman (who earned her feathers on a battlefield, so she wasn't anti-war) or, whatever that square jaw pale skin is supposed to be? That fact alone tells me their group is quote outside of historical presentation by the community at large. plus, the dreamcatcher tattoo... really... really. ...That's not a dead giveaway at all.

The Cherokee call Nancy Ward "Red Woman" red was one of many signs for war. The Red Woman was always consulted before going to war. It was in that position Nancy Ward prevented war against the states of South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and the Federal government especially since the Cherokee no longer had an alliance with England.

Na Ye Hi Wolf (Nancy Ward) is my 7th great grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth Broom is my 6th great grandmother, Jennie Ani Wa Ya Ononastota is my 8th great grandmother, Oconastota Rainmaker is my 9th great grandfather, Moytoy II Pigeon oif Tellico is my 10th great grandfather, Amatoya Moytoy I is my 11th great Grandfather and Charles Renautus Hicks is my 6th great grandfather. How did they get Nancy Ward's DNA to test it against? Sounds phony to me.
