One of my all-time favorite trucks you guys have done. I wish I had gotten by it. Some lucky fella out there did I hope he’s enjoying it.

really enjoyed this build. I'm doing the same truck! 68 109 ex military, and its just getting a bit of a refresh, brush painting and a tidy up!

Great video. I’m partial to the older vehicles with a little wear, but actually get used. Enjoy it! Thank you.

The 375 gearing you're talking about. Is that the Ashcroft high ratio transfer box modification? Or have you fitted some different ratio diffs? Looks like a great truck to have around and I love how solid and fresh the drivetrain is under the "disguise" of the faded panels

Rough body panels? You should see my 88 lol. Lovely build! Is it posible to get more info on the fuel injection setup? Very intresting stuff.

You should build your WW I tank idea! I bet you could.

Hi, great vid and restoration job well done. I would appreciate some further détails on the (greater, round) socket on the back, please. Perhaps in additional vid. Have you ever checked the engine revs, while going 60mlsh with the 3.75 diffs? I like the Fairy OD on my 109 S3 (ex-mod, ex-FFR, ex-4cyl petrol), but got the feeling, that the rev's could be lower (now with 200TDi), even with OD in and 235/85-16 ( but 4.11 diff-ratio). Regards Heinz

Love the truck but unrelated question: is it straightforward to fit half doors to Defender with conversion kit? Also for the rear to create half swing away if you’ve done it? Thanks for your help!

Love the truck! Does it still have the original trans with no synchro on 2nd gear or did you convert it to the all synchro one? Also I you should post a youtube video of you plowing with it!

Looks lovely. Good job 👍🏻 Question - have you got the bonnet fasteners on the right way round ? On the series one’s the sprung part is on the wings with the clips on the bonnet.
@clooperman37452 жыл бұрын
On a 109" FFR l had the bonnet clips were the same as this.

I think it's interesting that you personally prefer a vehicle that proudly shows its history rather than the concourse reproductions that you roll out for your customers. My belief is that you would sell twice as many if this was your product.

Yes I will! I just need to cut off those recovery points on the top of the bumper. They are cleaned up and ready to go on.
