Cozmo is a breeze, they created tools so anyone can teach him. Nao has good tools too but Cozmo is much easier.

I´ll get a Cozmo Robot for my birthday this year. NAO is not too expensive for me, but only universities and schools can buy one. Thank you for the answer, love your videos :-)

You would be pulling your hair out with Nao, Cozmo comes with more pre programmed stuff, lots more. Professor Sundtree and myself spent a year on Nao before any of these videos, he is got great hardware but for software you have to create whatever you want him to be from scratch

they are great! They each have a little boost of help from me but most of the thanks goes to their creators, and some extra help from Microsoft cognitive vision for Nao. Cozmo is 180 US dollars, not bad as he does quite a lot right out of the box, and if you have time can teach him much more with Python later but not necessary

I gave them the software/programming like to go after the soccer ball, roll the bowling ball, but the actual contest was real and they did on their own :) So not under human control

Thank you. Nao broke his leg awhile back and we had to save to get him fixed(very expensive repair) So will try and get one out before long

You mean with Cozmo? Nao uses a huge dialog engine combined with microsoft cognitive vision(By myself and Professor Sundtree) and a little more help from me. As for Cozmo just a little coding and help, he pretty much has his own personality and only needs a little push or guide now and then, we love the little guy

Now that honestly inspires. In a way making them does same for me, the robots though still wires and cold metal parts, have their own characters that make making the videos just as anti-depressing for me, glad to hear it works for you too

I created that song myself! Using a free app called Scorecloud you can get on phones etc. You just hum the song and it converts it to horns, piano etc

Very good question. For the soccer that was all real and Nao kick was an accident. For the bowling, I had them lined up after some programming practice so slightest variation off the foot print spots added randomness to what they would throw. I did cheat on Nao's hitting that last pin he had to try a few times to get it
