@OnlineWithVixen yeah..she apparently accepted diamonds from the guy, back in the 90's during a ceremony held in Africa in honor of Nelson Mandela, in which both were invited including other people. So since the guy has his hands embedded in blood diamonds, it is said that the diamonds that she received were also blood diamonds. Since Charles Taylor as he is named was captured Africa has seen many years without civil unrest and genocides.

However i have read that they chased her because of her celeb status so as to give more attention to the case and to the issues sorrounding dirty diamonds. Hence i find it to be a bit unfair to her, because models live by gifts. who they need as witnesses are the large firms in Europe/US that bought those diamonds and those that provided the arms. We always prosecute the wrong people hence the problem always continues

Summoning Naomi Campbell was an absolute waste of time and a slap in the face of real justice. This was done for hype, nothing more, nothing less. Based on what I have gathered, Charles Taylor was not responsible for the hackings and the extreme mayhem that occured in Siera Leone. If he was, he would have implemented those techniques in Liberia but he didn't.
