My best friend walked away from God a couple years ago, I didn’t realize it was happening. I’ve been a Christian all my life but I only started working on my relationship with God about the same time my best friend was walking away. In recent days this has put a huge strain on our friendship, he started making comments like “why didn’t your God do this or that if he was real?” “Your Christian God encouraged slavery, I can never take Him seriously” and it just dawned on me what different places we are. I’ve prayed for him, I’ve tried to reason with him to the best of my abilities but now I’m just trying to walk away from him. I am frustrated that he can’t see/feel what I do, the goodness, mercy and love of God is so palpable to me and how can he not see that? But also, his words has become the voice of doubts in my head; I’m reading the scripture and wondering what arguments he’ll have against it instead of focusing on the word of God. I’m losing my best friend (maybe already lost) and I’m also worried that I’m not doing right by him or God by taking steps away. Maybe I’m supposed to help him find his way back, maybe I just gotta protect my peace and not welcome such negativity, especially as my relationship with God is also still very delicate.

That's difficult. Keep your friend uplifted in prayer -- Ephesians 1:17-19 is one of my favorite scriptures to pray over loved ones who haven't yet come to Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your interactions with that friend, too. When to speak and when not to. And ultimately know that the work of changing a heart is God's alone.

Our faith has to be a faith that goes before we see God move-Alexandra, I have watched this episode before on your website but today I know God led me here. God is so amazing how he chooses to speak to us. And yesterday my husband and I were talking about moving into purpose and this is so timely and can I sense God's move and presence and response to us. God bless you all🙏🏾

Each new morning, I seek God and surrender my body and life to Him. (He chose me) I have ptsd severely and all through the day I cry out, I need You Lord. Yesterday the Lord spoke so lovingly and said, "I know you need me." I had journaled that this morning as I wrote my gratitude for His words to me yesterday, and then Blynda says towards the end of this broadcast, "He knows we need Him". Wow. Confirmation. That helps me so much. So grateful we have relationship with Him and that we can have conversation with the Lord and King of the universe! By His grace, and through faith in Jesus Christ, continuing in relationship - we can seek Him through teachings, studying His word, prayer, and listening. One day, one breath, one moment at a time. Love that He channels through us and speaks through us too. Love this program and the willingness of the vulnerability in your sharing.

Let's get to know Jesus and give him all worries and lay them down by his feet and he gives you peace. Share Jesus and do what he would and let your light shine through. The Christian life is about the will of God, desires of God the purpose of God and the glory of God. God is not invested in our success he is invested in his glory. Gods heart for humanity is for total reconciliation back to him. It not about our wants and needs. Is a life full of complete surrendering. Honoring and obeying him.
