I'm feeling so with you! Especially Mayas story as well as Esmes feel so incomplete right now. There's still something missing. And I want to know if the relationship between Zoe and her mother gets better... She really changed over the Degrassi time and she would deserve it to be loved by her mother for who she is now!

Season 4 felt rushed because there was a pretty large graduating class and many loose ends to tie up. A lot feels unfinished. Also, what did the letter from Zoe's mom say?! I wish we could have learned that.

We all graduated from Degrassi, from season 9 when KC and Claire found warmth in each other's arms until Jenna came along, or Season 13 when Claire lost her baby and we cried with her for days. And now we graduate from Degrassi Next Class, where we are undecided children still trying to figure out what we want to do, who we want to be in this world. Thank you Degrassi for growing up with me, thank you Principle Simpson for being there since the first time I started watching this show. Thank you Linda Schuyler and Yan Moore for creating this light I call a show, and though I didn't know who you two were until five seconds ago, you two made me who I am. I've learned that I'm not the only one depressed, I'm not the only one who's having it rough in the family, and I'm not the only one who needs a friend. I hope there's going to be a new season because Degrassi isn't over for me.

As a long time Degrassi fan since season 1, they have gotten so much shorter. The original seasons (1-8 around there) had like 25 episodes a season and were 50 mins long. They split the seasons into two parts, Fall and Spring. They also used to do a special bonus Degrassi episode during the summer. Degrassi is still good, but is no where near as good as the originals.

Y’all need to stop complaining about season 5. It’s on its way hopefully so just go and watch season 1-14 while you’re waiting. Especially the people who have only seen 15-18 (1-4 in netflix) it’ll take you ages and it’s worth it. The next class characters come in around season 11 but don’t bother skipping to them because you’ll miss all the good stuff

Such a beautiful song. Honestly Maya's story with how she dealt with trauma. I've literally watched youtube videos like she was after my mom passed. But overall compared to other seasons, Next Class did not really deal with actual high school problems the way Degrassi used to. It seemed padded out with bs
