I feel for Nagyeom. It's kinda like watching my old self. I was the quiet one amongst my siblings. People always liked to play with my siblings more because they were more outgoing. I often felt left out. The worse thing was I didn't even have the courage to speak up about it. Fast forward, I feel like I (over) compensated for it as I grew older. I am now extra loud and outgoing. I feel like I must always work extra hard to gain one's favor or deserve someone's attention. I hope Nagyeom doesn't grow up feeling like that.

She's in her formative years. This is the time where she should feel secured and confident about herself. We don't entirely know what happens. This could be due to editing. However, it's better to take all the necessary precautions because it is a child we are talking aboit here :)

@@Talesbymini that is very nice of you!! Things still turned out for the better. I feel like this childhood experience made me more hypersensitive of other people's feelings. Still, these complex things are too much for a child to understand. Hope Nagyeom feels all the love she deserves 🤍

I can relate. I feel bad for nagyeom because she doesn't get as much attention as her younger siblings and I can say she's such a wonderful person who is still at the age of getting lots of attention and love from people and there's times she realized she's the left one and becomes quiet and quiet :c

You should have invited 3 members of Monsta X so each kid could have an uncle with them. Pretty sure Kihyun would have been a good match for Nagyeom since he's attentive.

I always felt this too and I’m glad people are starting to speak up. I felt so bad for Nagyeom and Heesung all the time. Now I can’t even bring myself to watch their family anymore even tho I was really enjoying them at first

Honestly, people have been speaking up about this soon after their debut on the show. Unfortunately, it may just be us international viewers, and of course KBS doesn't care about us. What we need is for the parents to publicly denounce this favoritism, like Park siblings' mom did. But that seems unlikely, because dad actively makes Naon the focus all the time, so he's part of the problem at this point.

@@anthyavila9726 Yeah, I think the dad feels really pressured to keep up this thing with Naon since their main "gimmick" is how much she loves him, but the other children end up with less attention because of it. And this is bad for Naon too since it makes that out to be her only personality trait when it isn't.

I agree with you. This has been happening since this family join the show... Nagyeom is always left out.. It's always about naon .. I think the family especially the father needs to pay attention to this... Both the younger children are outgoing and energetic but that doesn't mean you're gonna ignore the shy one. And nagyeom is not even that shy person, she talks a lot too but if someone doesn't talk to her or pay attention to her what's she's gonna do.. The father needs to undestand that She's still a baby, she needs attention too.. No matter how many children you have or what their personality is you should treat your child equally..

Pleaseeee.....a segment of Nagyeom when she can be the focus of attention. I like all Yoon siblings but most of their segments are when Nagyeom being left out or looked lonely, etc. So what if she's a bit quiet?!!! PD and editor, it's your job to be creative and make Nagyeom shine. She may be quiet but she can talk a lot. TROS, you just need to figure out when she will talk a lot (usually when she plays with friends and siblings she likes or there are times when she is leading her siblings, etc). I know their parents treat them sooo well, it's just the way TROS edited their segments that make it as if Nagyeom is a lonely kid.

I feel like Gyeom is similar to Daehan. They're both reserved and quiet that's why other people seems to pay more attention to their outgoing sibling. They still want to play with the others but both of them cannot voice it out.

Daehan also ended up getting a lot of fans for that reason if I remember correctly. Many people would comment on their videos complimenting him the most because he tended to get ignored. I hope Nagyeom can get a lot of fans as well.

I'm happy that Heesung had a great time with the uncles, but when will Nagyeom ever get any attention on this program? Is it really THAT difficult to invite one more member to ensure that every child would have a guest to play with? The writer assigned to this family seems to actively enjoy creating scenarios that have her as 'lonely/jealous/etc.' Seriously, what's their problem?? 😑

nagyeom is the eldest but she still need affection and appreciated. she might be quiet but when shes with someone who finds her comfortable, she will probably talk a lot. most of the clips i saw is she is the one who always get left out. JUST INVITE 3 PERSON para fair

Same. They've been on for 6 months and they've not yet done anything geared toward Nagyeom. Even Heesung only really had his birthday episode.

@@yeonlee191 let's hope they'll give her a special episode. I know that I've said in the past that she reminds me of Daehan but Nagyeom seems to be more neglected (screentime) than him because Ilkook always acknowledged how good of a brother Daehan is and how he can always count on his eldest son.

About no pics of her with mx, if you follow jooheon on insta, he mentioned in his caps already that they played in beach but couldn't take a pic with her cuz she was very shy and lil scared of them cuz of the instructor costume they wore.

@@fatemamisbah7100 exactly my point. She was overly shy. I hope they could dedicate an episode for her that will help her overcome her shyness. Other families do it too whenever they need to teach their child something. I guess she's also used that people around them choose her siblings to play with instead of her and often than not, it contributes to the shyness as well. Anyway, I know that there were lot of things that we might not know behind the camera but we can't deny the fact that she had less screentime among the Yoon siblings and its just to sad to see.

No matter what even if no one likes nagyeom I am definitely on nagyeom side. She is the best. Nagyeom is suffering a lot. I hope in future she won't suffer like me. How can they not care about their own child not only parents but each and everyone doesn't care about her. If no one doesn't care about her then i must say in future she might be depressed a lot like me. She is just a small girl like there sister and brother. How can guys not care about her.

I felt really bad for Nagyeom. (I) can say that she's introverted, but with a little more attention to her she may become a lot playful and more cheeky. I just hope she doesn't feel outcasted. But we don't know how things goes behind the camera. Hope to see the more playful side of Nagyeom, she may act maturr and all but she is still a child.

First of all, I know the boys interacted with Na gyeom and this is just evil editing but still that poor girl is still a baby! They need to stop treating her like she’s a teenager that can look after herself while the younger siblings are being cared for! She’s naturally a quiet and calm type, gotta extend some hands to her since she’s a bit shy. I just wanna give her a hug🥺, such a sweet baby!

@@aaa.a123 Okay, calling a child not entertaining just to protect your idols is not the right way to go about things. They might have edited it out for any reason or the guys might have just spent more time with the younger kids, but that doesn't mean they should get slack for it cause she's just a bit older and quiet, they might have not wanted to make her feel uncomfortable. It's not right to speculate either way, not even the show runners themselves cause you aren't behind the cameras or editing the clips yourself.

@@josereyes-fd1qp I’ve watched this show for ages and more so when the yoon family joined. The editors have always manipulated how much screen time certain siblings get based on how the Korean public reacts to certain kids. That’s what happened with the triplets at one point.

Nagyeom needs more attention tbh. I know she’s the oldest so other siblings need more attention compare to her BUT she’s just a baby.. I hope this show makes a special day for her. Like a day of her with her dad/ uncles alone without the rest of her siblings and also I hope Nagyeom meets Naeun (ok but imagine Jooho takung care of Nagyeom)

Dear editors, why did you guys love EVIL EDITING so much?? it makes people uncomfortable to watch this family because of the favoritsm but we cant blame the father or even the idols since we dont know what happened off camera...I'm sure all of them had a good time since Nagyeom is a cute and kind baby...fortunately we still can see the uncles interact with Nagyeom..if not, im sure the uncles will be implicated because people will accuse them ignoring Nagyeom

Why can't we blame the father or the idols? Just because they don't choose what gets aired doesn't mean they should be let off the hook. They still let Nagyeom sit alone for a long time while Naon and Heesung got more attention. I think there should have been no moment where one child was left out, whether it was Nagyeom or one of the others. But you're right, the editors are horrible with this family. Even if Nagyeom did interact with them more, they clearly chose to only focus on uploading footage of the monstax members with Naon and Heesung while she just got a little conversation.

If you are very familiar with Korean entertainment you would know that they edit stuff too much to make it look the way they wanted it to be. Plus who knows it was the kids father who decided about it. Since he's been like that. Leaving out Nagyeom. Or could be the staff too. Just like how they tryna make one kid the bad one to her sibling. (not in this family) Like the staff can totally control what it should be like. Telling what to do and not to do. Just so it would fit to their liking. I maybe biased bcos I'm a MONSTA X fan. But theyve been with kids for many times and they nvr missed a kid. They nvr left out a kid. Idk what happened here but all I know is that there is sth wrong with the story of this family.

Why blame any of them if one of the kids doesn’t get enough exposure? I’ve been following this family for a while now and the eldest has always been very shy while the other 2 are very friendly and outgoing they get along very well with anybody right away pretty much. If you are watching a reality show and the focus on someone who’s shy and likes to stay quiet would you continue watching? It’ll be very boring and don’t say Naon gets favoritism who wouldn’t fall for that kid, she’s just so adorable and at her age she is very smart always talks with sense. So please stop comparing those kids. Just my 2 cents ✌️

That's just the evil editing again.🙄 She talks a lot too and enjoys meeting new people just like any other children. She's obviously wanting to play with the uncles in this episode too.

The producer did the same thing to naeun and gunhoo where they made the kids look like they never get along and always fight. The mum even had to make a public statement regarding this issue and she wanted the kids pulled off the show. The writers really needs to sit down and have a proper talk cuh we are getting tired of seeing favouritism towards kids when this should NEVER happen.

I watched the full clip from another channel, and I found a comment in Indonesian saying that this time nagyeom got a little more scene with and more talk with the guest. If that's true I feel happy, I hope that when they comes again all the kids will be closer to these samchoons because I know from xray and twotuckbebe that not only minhyuk and jooheon but all monsta x members are always very caring and sweet with kids

They should've bought Hyungwon with them so then Nagyeom wouldn't feel left out and there would be someone to talk to her and hangout with her. I feel so bad that she's just sitting there watching, but I also know that Minhyuk would not have left her out because he's so attentive with kids. Minhyuk even wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I think the editing might be a bit weird.

I SWEAR TO GOD. MONSTA X, Minhyuk in particular, is the type of person who will never let a kid left out. He is the type to get that shy kid's trust, attention and smile. He is the type to never stop until that shy kid opens up to him. HE IS THAT PERSON WHO WANTS EVERY KID TO BE CLOSE TO HIM. They were even in a 15ish school of kids what more of this with only 3?? So if Nagyeom is being left out by MONSTA X. THERE IS really SOMETHING going on. THAT NO ONE CAN'T HELP BUT FOLLOW.

I love the Yoon trio so much but I can't help but feel so sorry for Nagyeom. Maybe it's the editing but that girl is too precious to be left out like that. They had that problem with the Park siblings before when the focus changed to the younger sibling, but they were able to resolve it. I hope Nagyeom will get more screen time soon. She works hard, she can be fun and talkative too.

I'm getting annoyed with people defending Nagyeom's lack of screen time by saying "she's shy" or "Naon and Heesung are cuter/more extroverted/more enjoyable". I think Nagyeom is more quiet, but not necessarily shy. Even in the other video she interacted with the boys right away and was excited to do the tug of war. We see her here clearly longing for attention from the boys. We've seen her being goofy and outgoing numerous times, but people still insist she's shy and doesn't want screen time. It's getting annoying. This channel in particular also has a habit of not uploading the parts of episodes where Nagyeom gets more attention or is more animated (like the last episode where they didn't upload the part where Nagyeom and Naon catch the octopus).

Yeah, those people are supporting the bias because they're also biased, like the PD team for this family, and care only about seeing Naon. Pretending that Nagyeom doesn't want attention is best for their twisted interests. It's also clear to me that Nagyeom isn't that shy and loves interacting with guests, but just always gets pushed aside. I wouldn't be surprised if the PD has actually told guests to focus on Naon, they sure love pushing the narrative that she's the main character while Nagyeom is just the pitiful, jealous second lead.

you do understand that this is a production and they need to make money right? The show has a mean 11% viewership which is really high. They only choose to leave in scenes they deem will be entertaining. Heesung and Naon tend to open up to people a lot easier than Nagyeomi and that's alright. Minhyuk and Jooheon made an effort to interact with all of the kids. jooheon even said he tried to get closer to Nagyeom but she was a little scared of him. From the episode you can tell that the boys spent time with Ngayeom asa well but the producers decided to edit out the clips because they didn't find them as entertianin.g.

@@wanabas9497 I'm not going to judge the idols because for all we know, they were told to focus on Naon and Heesung for the sicko writer's 'lonely Nagyeom' narrative. But I also blame the dad at this point --he sets up activities like the 'wedding' only for Naon, she's always the focus of activities. And even if it's just editing, it's his responsibility to monitor their segment and make sure all his children are being represented fairly. He should tell their dumb writer to stop making Nagyeom look like the unwanted child. This show is supposed to make happy memories for them, but if Nagyeom watches this in the future, she'll be horrified to see how the show put her in a pathetic role.

But I don't think Yoon "trio" (more like Naon the only child and the two ghost children hanging around her) will have their dad speaking up, because he actively makes Naon the center of attention. He has this weird tendency of commenting about Naon going on "dates" with the guests and pushing them to go together. If Nagyeom was just being shy, you'd think he would tell her to go on errands with the guests, since she's comfortable running errands and she could have a chance to bond with the guests. But it's always Naon whom he pushes the guests too. This happened with Woojin too, it's honestly ridiculous that people think a CHILD ACTOR who was able to act as a little girl despite being a little boy isn't getting any direction from the PD team at all.

This is reality in real world Everybody loves extroverts;introverts/ or who have hard time to express themselves have hard time. And this is tv programme who needs footage to attract viewers and hence these screen time. The eldest daughter has introvert personality and having siblings without much age difference might have cause sibling rivalry but because of her personality she might be having hard time to express. Hope she gets love the way she is rather than being asked to be changed All the best !

I watched clips of Yoon family on other program, and they are superb on that. It was before Heesung born, and both Nagyeom and Naeon still babies themselves. I can see that the dad clearly love them equally, like how he sneaked nagyeom to eat snack since she doesn't have that much of appetite. So I think the writers and editors on TROS mainly responsible on this. Nagyeom is an amazing child and oldest sibling no less than Naeun, kinda disappointing how they keep on not giving her enough airtime as her siblings and not highlighting her awesomeness

Yes we loved to watch this show but it hurts to see when one kid didn't get enough attention. i dont think that the idols did not give their attentions to Nagyeom as much as her other siblings...its mainly because of the editing because we still can see one of them doing aegyo for her and the other asking her about school....I'm sure they had a good time together and the editors are at faults here because in the other episodes we can also see how the father seems to be focused on Naeon and Nagyeom will be the abandoned one

I got really upset watching this because I just felt so bad for Nagyeom. If they were going to invite people to play with the kids, they should have had someone for each child. Or at the very least, one of the guys could have hung out with 2 children. I was so saddened seeing Naon and Heesung in the boys laps and getting so much 1-on-1 attention while Nagyeom was in the corner alone. And not one person said, Nagyeom why don't you go sit over there too. Why? At the very least one of the boys could have invited her to sit by them. Or her dad could have had her sit on the other side of him.

@@wanabas9497 I'm judging based on what they chose to upload. I don't care what happens off camera, and I can't assume what happens off camera. I care about the fact that every time they are on camera, Nagyeom is being pushed to the side. Yes they talked to her a bit, but one took Naon to get water, and the other gave Heesung individualized attention, and they let the younger kids sit with them and they fed them. Why couldn't they do that for Nagyeom ON CAMERA? I want to see Nagyeom getting special attention on camera. And in a way to do blame the adults because they are grown adults and they should know how wrong it is to treat a child like this.

Look, you're obviously here to defend your idols. I have no problem with them, I'm sure they tried their best. But don't try to silence us long-time viewers and sweep the issue with Nagyeom under the rug. We've seen her be pushed in the background repeatedly, and portrayed as the unwanted, jealous kid. This has been going on long before Monsta X ever guested. No one here is even blaming them, they're just saying there should've been ONE MORE member, so all the babies get focused attention. You're really more concerned about a single guesting gig for your idol than the fact that a child has been portrayed negatively in a variety show for months. Do get your priorities straight.
