Naoya Inoue vs Nonito Donaire 2 Full Fight
Naoya Inoue stopped Nonito Donaire midway through the second round on Tuesday night to emphatically win their rematch and unify three bantamweight world titles.
Inoue (23-0, 20 KOs) wasted no time in his second meeting with Donaire, knocking down the veteran champion at the end of the first round and again midway through the second. Inoue’s relentless pressure and power ended the fight at 1:24 in Saitama Super Arena outside Tokyo. He adds Donaire’s WBC belt to his own WBA and IBF straps with his fourth consecutive stoppage victory. The Japanese star is considered one of the world’s top pound-for-pound talents and now hopes to unify all four major bantamweight titles if he can land a fight with WBO bantamweight champ Paul Butler later this year.
Inoue abruptly dropped Donaire with a short right hand moments before the bell to end the first round. Donaire got up comfortably, but Inoue piled on the pressure in the second round and hurt his opponent with a series of accurate shots. After a short left hand put Donaire on wobbly legs in the center of the ring early in the second round, Inoue finished him in the corner with a right-left combination that dropped Donaire to his back on the canvas.

Nonito Donaire is a “gentleman fighter”. Win or lose, he’s always respectful of the opponents he defeats, and complimentary of those that beat him. It’s sad to see him at the twilight of his career. I think is time for him to reconsider retirement. I will always be a fan.

Naoya's Dad was the 1st man in the ring & rushed straight over to Nonito & walked him back to his corner. Stayed in his corner for at least 15- 20 seconds making sure he was ok.... This fighter is insane. Doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he fights in Japan rather than Britain or America. He could easily go up 2 weight classes and still dominate. Reminds me of a young Pacquiao, and yet Inoue is 29 - maybe he's been saving himself with those padded gloves? Edit: The first fight would've gone the same way within a few round if not for the fracture. I feared for Inoue after finding that out. Still respect to Donaire - fantastic all time fighter and what great fans in Japan. Ultra respectful.

Something frightening to consider about Inoue... he's already got the rarest combination of things---advanced skill set AND God-given, 1 punch KO POWER... now you can add supreme toughness to that as well...yup, don't let them "boy band" good looks deceive you, because the broken orbital bone injury is a potential career ending thing... or something you never forget, and it's also the type of injury that has caused many supremely tough fighters to call it a night... but Inoue fought through that pain barrier and performance deterrent, and should've got a KO in the first fight too, as Donaire was given a loooong count on the body-shot knockdown... but hell, he got right back into the fire, and somehow even got Inoue's attention after that, so I'm not going to make too much of it... this was a classic passing of the torch, and I don't see nobody beating Inoue until it happens... he's literally too much of everything for most guys... but he's at his 4th weight class now, and I'm not sure how far that truly scary power can travel up... in any event, be you black, white, yellow, brown or green... get over skin-color and enjoy this guy while he's around, because he's the type of talent package that doesn't come around very often in any shade... and yes, he's my favorite fighter right now, but I got him just a nick behind Bud Crawford for NO. 1 p4p... long-story short, the guy is a phenom, and if you're a true boxing fan his talent should be screamingly obvious

Watching Inoue box is a thing of beauty to behold! The man is a maestro in the ring. The punch he got Donaire with at the end of the first round was the same punch he took out Jason Maloney with...except even faster! I've said since I first began watching him that he's the best fighter in the world. This dismantling of Donaire reaffirms that. That's 20 KOs in 23 fights...and most of those within 2 or 3 rounds. @@rabin13579 "please don't give reason for Casimero fan girls to spread rumors."...LOL...I wasn't aware Casimero lost his belt by default until after that comment. I agree that he's had multiple chances for the spotlight (against both Donaire and Inoue) but somehow managed to blow them all. That's so ridiculous. Fighters toil their entire lives for a chance in the spotlight and few get the chance. Casimero's opportunities have pretty much come and gone. I'm beginning to think Casimero was scared all along of both Donaire and Inoue...neither of which he can beat. I think all that jawing he was doing at Inoue and Donaire was probably to fool his "fan girls" into thinking that it was Donaire and Inoue who were afraid of him, and not the other way around. Nobody cares about him now. What a wasted opportunity for him.

Remember Darchinian or Morel. But good for Inoue dude is definitely skilled and powerful, I’m really exited for his next 5 years when he is still fresh and can wreck some havoc. Too bad he is shorter than Pac-Man, he can go maybe 1,2 weight classes up. But let’s see he may surprise everyone and go in to welterweights 😂 before the divas in welters fight each other 😂

All time great is an overstatement, definitely one of the best of his generation, Hall of farmer for sure, I love Donaire seen his top form, it’s sad to see him getting hurt, some times you just can’t compete with prime fighters time to retire. As for Inoue he is best in the division but to prove greatness he needs rival, every greats had one or sometimes multiple, Ali had Fraser, Forman, then the welters and middleweights of 80-s, Duran, Hitman, Leonard etc. recent Pacman and the Mexikillers, especially Marquez. Money man could have cemented his legacy if he took the fight in 2010 but he chickened out, at least Canelo had aging Gena, but when he fought a young buck Bivol he lost, at least he dared, as fictional character said it not about how hard you hit it how you take a punch and keep going forward. Having 0 in a record means shit if you took the easy road

He has little in common with Manny in fighting style. Few fighters have this kind of style at all. A pure technician, restrained hunter. My question is how will he manage his physique and conditioning as he gets into his 30s. His style requires top fitness, which he has. I just wish he was fighting more often, and in America. I think no one on Earth can beat him. He's like 9/10, or 10/10 on every attribute.

I doubt Naoya could stand he's chance on the feet of Manny's if they eventually met in the same Era.. And also in Manny's peak he fought the high class boxers like Barrera,Morales,El dinamita and so many more which is the very best fighters in early 2000's before moving up to high bouts.
