Most crusaders weren't religious, too! Many of the first crusade weren't even christian, these were fighting the most just fight ever, getting Christians and muslims to hell and themsleves to Walhalla! The crusades were also a realy good solution to the problem of noblemen only inherit the land to their oldest son. So the left over sons, all perfectly trained Knights, were robbing the country...Sending them on crusade to aquire some land to their name was a smart decision. It made the way free for peace at home. That's also why crusades even when lost were economically beneficial! It's a brilliant concept!

I am a proud Christian, I know that Powerwolf are not Christian power metal band but man they have few songs that are just amazing and powerfull in the eyes of religious people like me. His voice makes it sound uffff this song has a very deep meaning.

I’m a religiously confused man. This music is my way of venting to the world, so I kind of understand how they’re not purely “Christian Metal”. Real Christian Metal is of bands like Stryper, Powerwolf just has the aesthetic of it. Kinda like how Alestorm isn’t made of a bunch of real pirates. I’d like to know, Deus Vult, which songs do you feel are the most powerful to you? Since I’m trying to get back to my faith, this band has been helping me along with it, but a lot of Powerwolf’s music is also Satanic in nature. Feel free to respond anytime. Metal is religion. I really like Attila Dorn's face paint, it looks seriously creepy. If you look at many black metal singers, they put on too much make up and end up looking like clowns (but maybe that an intention, I don' t know, many people find clowns creepy and demonic). Attila looks... somehow natural with his make up, I don't know? He looks like a natural undead. His face paint really adds to atmosphere and overall aesthetics of Powerwolf, without making it over-the-top edgy.

Antonio TF if you didnt notice it powerwolf clips have nothing to do with the songs. Go see amen&attack which is describing a demon-wolf-packs actions while in the video we see an exorcism... at we drink your blood you're listening to a vampire story while you see some guys rocking in a catholic church ;-)

I may be a Christian(Do not hate on me please). Yet, I have to say metal has been the music I love the most. Ever since I was 7 I would listen to stuff like Metallica and it has made me a lover of Metal. Thank God for Powerwolf and other metal bands because they have made me accepting of everything in the universe. Especially my love for werewolves.
