I got a box today which was a 100% surprise! I am so excited and thankful! I have not opened it up yet, but will do so shortly after everyone in the house is sleeping. That was so sweet and kind of you. Our internet has been on and off for 3 days now with our cable company so I am very behind in watching videos. At the start of this one you said this has been being done for a long time. I must have been in a fog as I have never seen this done before on book paper and I LOVE it. I take part in swaps and am often sent napkins, but had no idea what to do with them. This week another 20 arrived and the pile is growing. I found your helpful video this morning and have just experimented with putting a bird napkin over a page of Norwegian script from another swap and am delighted with the result. Oh, my, gosh. I hadn't ever thought of that. I used to put napkins on ceramics, but I'd never thought to put it on paper. I think these would be wonderful on the cover of a mini album.

Thank you for the tutorial. I love the way the pages look. i am starting an altered book for the first time and I have some nice napkins that i will try this technique to decorate some of my pages.
