Just to add to the 'biting' bit. Scott accidently called napom 'colaps' in the beginning when they were both on stage, not sure if it's a reach but then the shoutout to dlow saying "look at the crowd boy" would've been very appropriate and well used. Also a different beat from zekka, not dlows

Recycling old beats is one of my favourite things that bbxers do- IF it's showing new skills. I love seeing when they revitalize and freshen up stuff they're known for. It's a great way to refine sounds and techniques, while retaining their style. It also makes for a fantastic show of their leveling up. I only don't like it when it's an unchanged routine that they rely on. Case and point: Check out Napom - Groove King. You'll see a lot of old techniques revisited, but holy shiiiiiit does he fck things up in a great way!

It's crazy how I have been into the beatboxing scenes since last 7 years and I still get to learn from you guys(the history of biting here), yes he means that Zekka copied one of the beats which is not his orginal, if he repeats any of the beats which he has already used in his battles or in the showcase during the championship NaPoM would have shown 2 fingers which means he's using already used up routine or sub-routine from his previous rounds. Similarly if a beatboxer is off-timing the other person places his palms below and hits the palm using the other hand in the centre to indicate the beatboxer going off-time. These 3 are the commonly used hand symbols I have seen, if anyone knows up more or if they I'm wrong please let me know in the comments.

just from another beatboxing ear napoms second round you guys had it correct but a part you missed was where napom said “when i clap everyone claps when i hope everyone stops” that was a shot to zekkas first round where he was saying those exact lines napom “did it better” because he did a bmg snare technique that is very complex and hard to do dlow said himself in his reaction

I agree with Anthony here, BP has enough experience and years to speak for itself, no need to justify his comments Also, I've said since 2019 that Napom was one of the best, but he doesn't do routines enough, all his streams and vods after doing his music with Zhang Ze have just felt like long freestyle sessions, like made respect, but he doesn't create a battle structure anymore like he did in 2017

Yes i was a bboy for over 10 years and that was how you show that someone was stealing a move cus you can't speak, so the origins being in bboying make sense. In beatbox or rap battles you get a mic, so you can just say it rather than show it.
