2 ай бұрынCome with me for a day at Nara Deer Park in Japan! After hearing so many mixed reviews, I had to experience it for myself. And let me tell you, it was a pleasant surprise! Sure, the deer are famous for their bows (and occasional bites), but there's so much more to this place. It's truly one of the most breathtaking spots I've visited. I get why some might find it overrated, especially if you stick to the tourist traps. But trust me, follow my advice, and you'll have an unforgettable day in Nara-especially during Sakura season!

The deer have been sacred in Nara since the 1300's. The key to visiting Japan is the culture, everything unfolds from there. In general for all of us, try to start with the culture as a good and aware guest.

Nara is indeed a special place and I can see the polite and respectful culture everywhere I visit in Japan!

Glad you liked Nara. I tell all visitors to Japan that while Kyoto has, of course, many more historical sites to see, Nara is much more rural, relaxed, natural, and still has some cool ancient places. Go make a day trip down to Asuka mura in Nara to get to the real countryside, and really old historical places, which is perhaps my favorite place in all of Japan.
