Cavalry Bloom and Weapon Sap are 2 solid choices, also Universe Slash but its a bit tricky sometimes since terrain can grief you

After the scale rush he did a dodge which allows you to charge a focus attack in the air.

Going to add you should be pressing A or D (or moving left stick left or right) when doing the first dodge cus it’ll put you on “ground” even if in air, so you can quickly do like a focus attack (get blue armor too) and dodge again!

Sometimes I wonder if the devs even play their own game. How are they ok with every new weapon they released to be a direct S tier upgrade to the originals. I'm sorry but these new weapons don't add any varity to the game if the choice is always to pick the Polesword over the GS.

just get good enough where you can clap anyone with any weapon. I got asura with mostly preferring long sword and katana due to the insane combos I can do with them.

I low-key have been repping great and pole sword in tandum switching which moveset you're using throws off people timing and you can get good parry baits with it

All slow weapons are D tier Puts polesword in A tier

it has similar damage to GS, but also has built in warriors pace, you can control the direction your focus attacks are going, and its first stage RMB is actually pretty fast. Its a great weapon, also has synergy with staff. Most of the downsides of GS are removed on polesword, but retains high damage.

They have "the same" moveset but with key differences, the polesword is longer and some attacks are a little quicker. Especially good with staff weapon swaps. If you can do a weapon swap and continue the combo out of an uppercut or during a grapple combo you just big dick people and insta kill them usually.
