Here's our Tinley Park adventure at the North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC)! It was an awesome show, with lots of great animals and people! Thank you to everyone who came up to say hi!
If you could have brought home any animal from the show seen in this video, which would it have been? Comment below!

The woman from mostly reptiles was very educated on tarantulas. As someone who's been keeping for a while now she really knew what she was talking about which is a breath of fresh air (some breeders/sellers have a lot of terrible information). Also fear not is amazing as always.

Been breeding emeralds since I was 12. The idea that they are a "bite first ask questions later" snake is very very silly. Unlike most other snakes, which have 3 moods (defensive, feeding, and intetested) emeralds have 2. Interested and feeding. When it is day time, and you wake them up, they will investigate you and happily ignore you even when holding them. These animals catch on EXTREMELY fast to human interaction and through that will disassociate you with a predator almost immediately.

I'm heading to my first ever reptile expo on the 4th November, and I'm definitely going to have to talk to my family about the possibility of me coming home with a new pet! Loved how you showed such a wide variety of different reptiles and inverts, and all their passionate keepers!

I feel like Prey Mantis are super underrated. Here in Colorado they are everywhere in the wild and I used to raise them with my dad when I was younger. They definitely have silly personalities.

I really don’t support the breeding of scaleless ball pythons. They usually have a lot of problems, kind of like spider morphs.

Such a great video Emily! Abronia lizards were really interesting. I am continually amazed at new and unique species coming into the hobby! Such a nice thing to include a slide show at the end. Love your albino nelson and great name. I have an albino corn snake named Candy Corn :) Hope to catch the Tinley show in March.

Dear Emily I would like to thank you so much. I used to be deathly afraid of snakes and i hated being in the room with them it was at the point where i could even watch videos without being terrified but after watching some of your videos and seeing that snakes are just like a dog or any other friendly animal it made me realize i have been scared of nothing Nd i recently ordered a baby corn snake so i can work with her as a baby and she will become tame. So thanks for everything you do I am so happy you helped me get ver my fears.

Hi again! (We met at Tinley (I'm at 29:00) and again over the weekend) To answer your question, a species that I'd love to get (that didn't appear in the video but that I saw at Tinley) is a Vietnamese Blue Beauty Rat Snake. I think they're gorgeous 😁

🦎I was just sitting here thoroughly enjoying myself as I watched this video for the second time since it was first uploaded. Everything was all fine and dandy until the 11:14 mark and Forrest appears to talk about the arboreal alligator lizards. I still can’t believe he is gone! He was such an awesome guy and so passionate about his animals. #RIPForrestFanning
