This fragrance is awesome, major sleeper. It is perfect fragrance for rainy days in the spring/summer. It truly has niche quality! Bold, arrogant, aggressive & confident.

One of my favourites as well. I like the clean dry musk that you get whiffs of throughout the day. I tend to like simplistic fragrances with few notes.

I blind bought this along with a few others.. I love this stuff . honestly I was expecting the worst from a lot of the reviewers and their warnings and what I got was a beautiful masculine scent that I couldn't be more happy about. I can smell the nod to the 80s fougere fragrances . if you like those I think youll like this.

I really love this house Ive got the ROSE & the GARDENIA I just ordered this one & the PARFUM great stuff for such a simple list of notes (in both) all four scents are unique & just a bit strange - Im not a fan of "crowd-pleasers" the beautiful bottles are a standout as well great price for niche quality scents thanks for covering this JIM from MIAMI BEACH

This frag inhabits the same space as grey flannel. Weird interesting and once it grows on you, catches on, its death do us part...enjoy

Great review man I had been waiting on this one! I just got this from scentbird last week and wow! I really love it I haven't worn it out of the house yet but I have been spraying it on my hand at night and enjoying it. I have a feeling I'll be buying a bottle soon. Keep up the good work man!

I only wear thr EDT after each shower. It lasts on me 3 hours before the aroma starts to flatten. very sexy and masculine fragrance! I have the 3.4 oz bottle and currently have a full bottle since last year. I rate it a 7.9 out of 10. Not the best in thier longevity but their DNA (Heart middle and bottom notes) is awesome! I am going to get the EDP version soon.

Hey guys, let's have more of videos, what do you say?... This is a fantastic house and one of the simpler ones to collect since there are so few for men. I have all of them,except the new one , try to get your noses on them, they are truly marvellous. They might be slightly challenging at first to some but they are great, check them out.

I commented over on Peter's channel awhile back that if John Wick had a signature scent, this would be it. I love this fragrance as well as the EDP, but have a hard time pulling it off in public. It's so moody and dark, which is the complete opposite of my looks and personality. Too bad because I'd say that this would be in my top 10 rotation if I could pull it off. Do you find yourself still grabbing for it a year after your review?

I think it depends how you think about the concrete…. It’s not wet pavement… it’s like just poured cement that hasn’t hardened with fragrance oil put into it lol. It’s the dampness and the slight powdery nature that hints at fresh mixed not set yet cement.

Thank you, Daniel! Bleu Noir is a great scent too. Its kinda like this one but without the violet leaf (green earthiness), and with more spices and sweetness.

I really like this scent. It has a curious darkness to it. Maybe because i associate this scent with two things - a flowershop i visited as a child - it had marble floors and a marble running water fountain thing. A "damp cold stone/concrete" smell mixed with the flowers of the shop. The second association is darker - a funeral home i visited. Same thing - marble floors and walls decorated with fresh flowers - possibly violets. A fragrance for funerals?!

I actually blind bought this last year along with Bleu Noir. At first, it was a tough one to wear. I didn’t get the wet concrete smell like I heard from other reviewers nor the amber. This is far from the typical designer fragrance. I’ve grown to love it the more I wear it and I feel kinda mysterious while wearing it.

You look different.....but I have this fragrance and never reach for it. Does it have violet in it? I hate violet because it makes me sneeze. Burberry touch makes me sneeze too and was my first designer fragrance.

I haven't tried the EDP, but that's the main thing I've heard about it--it comes off quite feminine. It seems that most people prefer the EDT. Check it out if you can.

I blind bought this, but only a 10 ml decant. Not bad by any means but this is the complete opposite of “sexy”. I found that it pairs incredibly with John Varvatos, so that’s how I’m gonna finish this decant

I blind bought it, swapped it...just wasn't for me...very strong green scent to me and my girlfriend didn't like it....I think mainly do to how loud/strong it is at first spray...definitely violet leaf bomb....I think I may like the EDP but hate blind buying.

David Reynolds.... I always get/buy samples and don't "Blind Buy". Unless its something so HYPED you can easily flip or the full bottle is so cheap (under $20) where it doesn't make sense to sample. I haven't smelled this one yet, but I do like the For Him Bleu Noir flanker.

It is a shrill aroma that is not very good at all. IN fact, the label has a lot of negativity within the industry. Educate yourself a bit more on this frag and consider that it is a designer of poor quality. See Perfumes: The Guide and learn something more about this wane frag before swallowing every reviewers opinion. It is the kind of cologne one wears when you are looking to not attract people - and leaves you forgettable. This is NOT a great frag at all.

The description of this is terrible from wet concrete to funeral homes. I just got my nose on it and I love it, I'd describe it like original Aramis but dried right down with slight floral wafts. Getting a bottle ASAP.

It's a very complex scent, "He is an individual who takes time to get to know, just as for him eau de toilette is a subtle, nuanced scent that grows more powerful and addictive with time." For a designer release it's very bold, niche quality.

Purchased this about a year ago. I classify this as a roll around with a girl in bed fragrance (each to there own and we all like to categorise our fragrances). So...ummm..cheque please!! 😜 I bought noir anthracite after this and to me they have a similar vibe.

Bleu Noir is safer in my opinion. Musk is still a major player in it, but its quite spicy and sweet as well. No violet leaf as well.

I've never smelled it, but I've heard people describe as smelling a little "old lady-ish"...however, don't take my word for it. Try it!

UPDATE: I really like it!!! I'm kinda surprised that this fragrance doesn't get compared to Fahrenheit... it has a very similar petroleum vibe to it, but in my opinion is more versatile - I can easily pull it off during the summer while Fahrenheit is too heavy for that in my opinion
