tbh any doctor who does it for the money is a moron, what good is money if you get legit no sleep or free time? there are select surgeons etc who get high ranking enough to pick and choose when they work, but this isn't the majority by a long shot

I remember in Canada there was a couple of immigrants from America that crosses the boarder and got frost bite all over the face and hands. The reason they illegally crossed the boarder was they were scared of being deported. I believe the Canadian government treated them fully, and gave them a chance to become citizens.

If you enter a country illegally, then you shouldn't have the protection that the laws of that country give you. The US is well within their rights to deport illegals and the hospital has the right to offload patients who can't pay once they've gotten the treatment they need.
@twilightanndanaez

Ummmmm i have never come across a situation where the hospital refused to treat due to non payment. In US, you get billed or they wait till you are ok enough to move like not in life threatening condition. Even if the hospital did do something like this now, the backlash from social media would be massive if found out. But also welcome to america land of the free but not for all

I am so glad I’m not an American. I live in Canada where a hospital visit won’t bankrupt me and people like Maria are given full medical care.

God just imagine going to the us for refuge loosing your brother who was trying to protect you and then get sent back to the place you tried to escape from because you were undocumented. I know situations like these happen on the daily but Jesus the world is a fucked place
